The BBQ is delicious, there is always fun music playing, and all of the staff is so nice and attentive. We especially love our usual servers Michael and Brianna! It has become our Sunday ritual :)“

“My father was a major foodie and was always out finding new places to go and food to try. Always eating what he wasn't supposed to lol. He brought us for breakfast one day and we havent stopped going.

The staff is very hospitable in a latin family way. My son and I are familiar faces and always are treated with the most kind smiles and warmest welcomes. I suggest this place 100%. They do close at 4, so make it for breakfast or and early lunch. Street parking only, it is in a residential area so it can be tricky. Sadly, the homeless take up alot of the sidewalk where there is parking. You may have to walk a bit.“

So I'll list favorites..feta fries..greek salad Chicken Shawarma..grilled chicken.. Gyro ..Chicken & Beef Kabob.. cakamari... rice .. seasoned fries..of course HUMMUS .garlic fries..a few paninis. “I remember growing up in the 80's eating at Astro Burger on the corner of Alvarado St and Village. That restaurant has been closed, but I am so glad the owner still keep this one open on Melrose. I stop just by with my family for dinner and the astro burgers taste just as good as they have always been. Love that original charbroil burgers with that marinated sliced lettuces. They keep that classic vibe and nostalgia atmosphere. Will always come back every once in a while when I feel like a kid again. 🙂“
