My favorite bar in the neighborhood, I love the cocktails, nachos and chicken wings. Staff are all incredibly friendly. I once came here 4x in one week when my schedule allowed for it.
love hi tops (all locations) so much but it seems like they’re moving in a direction of getting rid of all the food vegan options. hi tops weho stopped carrying the sauce for vegan nachos, and hi tops los feliz changed their breakfast burrito to now be a burger patty and rice inside of a tortilla… for $20. it used to be sweet potato and avocado and was so good. sad that a gay bar, especially in los feliz, isn’t friendly to vegans.

Hi Tops Los Feliz is an awesome gastropub, sports bar, and queer bar, serving as the only LGBTQ+ space in Los Feliz. Open to all 21 and over, it’s a great space to unwind, hang, and enjoy the game. The bar spins great beats in the later evening and at night. Events include Fun social Bear Happy Hour on the 2nd Thursday of every month, Monday Trivia Nights, Survivor Wednesday watch parties, and Sunday Funday Football. They offer an amazing daily happy hour from Noon to 7pm.
The pub-like menu has vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free/friendly options, including the warm soft pretzel, fries, salad, and impossible burger. The seating layout is stellar, with awesome servers and sensational bartenders. The bar features fun shirt merch and huge abundant flat screens in all directions. The open-air patio overlooks Vermont Avenue. Hi Tops Los Feliz has gender-neutral restrooms with individual doors. The entire vibe is very welcoming and warm, even the security is friendly.
While the food is great, the drink service can be slow with one or two bartenders and bar backs who cannot serve drinks. The bartenders work super hard, but adding a third on weekends could help. The menu features a wide array of dishes like burgers, wings, fresh salads, and hearty appetizers, complemented by craft beers and innovative cocktails. This spot guarantees delicious food and awesome drinks in a lively setting, perfect for catching a game or a night out with friends. Parking is local street parking, metered parking, or paid lot parking. The venue can get full fast, with bar seating and standing room, but tables are a lucky find.
