I liked everything I tried here! The katsu in my katsu salad was crispy and not dry. The fried mushrooms were good too. I probably wouldn't order the chicken karaage side again but it wasn't bad. I tried my friends mushroom katsu sandwich and I think it's a decent vegetarian option if you like mushrooms.
We stopped by Katsu Bar's Ktown location and tried a bunch of stuff: curry katsu plate with cheese, rosemary katsu sando, black garlic ramen with katsu, dill egg salad sando, strawberry sando, and the shrimp curry plate. The rosemary katsu sando and shrimp curry plate were definitely my favorites—both hit just right.
