Delicious food. Exellent service. π
Portions are good, food seems good quality, and they're not salty. The radish was dry and the peas in the rice were all wrinkled up--probably was made/prepped 1+ day ago.
Nice, authentic cuisine.
The outdoor dining area is simple yet comfortable. The only undesirable issue I had was that the location is in a parking lot, adjacent to a very busy street (Venice Blvd).
If dining outside, be prepared for lots of traffic noise (loud cars, sirens, etc.) Also is adjacent to a liquor store, so at dinner time be prepared to see some unruly looking characters meandering around the parking lot. Best bet is to enjoy the good food on the few tables available...read full review

Based on the reviews, La Esquina Mexican Grill is an amazing place with great flavors. The carnitas tacos are a must-try, with the chefβs artwork in every bite. The breakfast burrito with carne asada and bacon, substituted baked potatoes for pinto beans, is heavenly. The red and green salsa is delicious and spiced to perfection. No matter what is ordered, customers cannot go wrong, and the food presentation is also amazing. The Taco Tuesday deal is a great spot for a good deal, with decent size tacos and lots of flavors. The employees are consistent, kind, and treat customers well, making it feel like home. The food is delivered fast. The area can be a little sketchy at times, but it does not matter because the food and people are great.
