This might just be one of my new go-to places out here. Vanessa, the owner, was an absolute delight and she knows how to make a damn good coffee. This was my first time here but she made me feel like I was a regular that's been coming here for years. I had an iced Americano and it was smooth and rich in flavor with subtle notes of cocoa. Not only is this coffee shop a MUST visit but the story behind its creation is impactful and inspiring. First of all, the coffee is DELECTABLE. I ordered a simple latte with oat milk--perfection. As I enjoyed it, I perused the gorgeous artwork hanging on the walls: paintings of Jimmy Hendricks, Erika Badu, Nina Simone, and other influential artists adorn the walls.
