The best taco place in LA, and the original! Always friendly staff and every time I go there I am so thrilled that they have so many options. A landmark with a dream of a menu. My favorites are the shrimp and mushroom tacos as I am a pescatarian. The taco sauces are to DIE for! I bought bottles of extra sauce so I can add them to my tacos at home. The huge outdoor dining area is dog friendly—always appreciated. My go to for Taco Tuesday!
Barbara Burrell serves the BEST tacos in all of Los Angeles. In the late 90s, a former friend introduced me to the delicious offerings at Sky's Tacos. I'd always opt for Barbara's delectable lobster, shrimp, and chicken tacos accompanied by pineapple cheesecake and lemonade. I craved Sky's Tacos for years but couldn't enjoy them due to living in New York. But I make sure to purchase them when in town. I had the most amazing experience (sat outside on their very trendy patio), and had one of the best shrimp tacos I've ever had in LA! Barbara also came to to speak to me and asked how the food was - She is one of the nicest human beings/owners I have spoken with as well! She's been here for 30+ years, and I am excited to see them franchise out! Hopefully closer to where I live!!!! :)
