Welcomed by Keith and treated with the best customer service possible. We had a long wait and were very comfortable while enjoying great conversation and an ample selection of snacks and beverages along with great dining options on the 1st floor in the main station area. This level of service should be the standard for all customer service experiences.
I stopped by Union Station yesterday to get the details of my upcoming Amtrak journey. Since I have a business class ticket, I was informed that I will have lounge access before my departure. I went up to the lounge to check it out, and I was so surprised. The agent on duty named Felis was welcoming and kind. She let me come in and look around. I have been to so many airport lounges.
