the cakes from this place are good. i've had the red velvet, german chocolate, carrot cake, and double chocolate cake and they've all been solid. the service could be a bit better but nonetheless a good bakery.
This place is great, first and foremost you people on this review thread here are disgusting. If you want a top tier cake go somewhere that does that and pay the premium for it. Gonna be way more than $200 even for a small one. You guys go to a bakery in South Central expect Picasso Style perfection, want to pay the least amount possible and then nit pick and cry about minor details. Lupita's never disappoints! We asked for a craps table cake and they delivered! We received so many compliments on the cake it was moist and tasted very good with fresh strawberries inside! If you've not used Lupita's please give them a try you will not be disappointed. Plus, they have a restaurant inside to buy food as well!
