“I rarely eat at the same spot more than once, however I visited this establishment twice in a day!

I am very picky about my sweets and I am not a mango fan, but the mango cromuffin recommended by staff was the pastry that made me return. The mango tasted unexpectedly juicy and fresh, the exterior was crisp and flakey, and the pasty cream was luscious, achieving the perfect balance of sweet versus tangy. I am certain the other pasties are as well executed as the mango.

Additionally the owner was extremely personable and gave me a complimentary pastry with my order! All desserts were aesthetically crafted and presented elegantly behind a glass case. Everything looked too good to eat!

Note: For areas of improvement, I would recommend the rest of the staff be more hospitable- for example, I came in the store and several staff stared at me and did not smile or greet me for at least 7 seconds“

“I love this place! Wish I lived closer! The house coffee is amazing and definitely fills my caffeine needs. The little cookies are also so good. Always soft and fresh. The first time I came and didn't know what to get, the staff was so kind and helpful and even offered me samples. I have been by to study and drink coffee a few times. I recommend this place often“

Their matcha is my favorite in the SGV and you get more than double for the same price as starbucks. It's such a good deal.“

“The Freshwater Pavilion is a wonderful addition to the Huntington Chinese Garden. The small tea house sells an assortment of Asian snacks, drinks, teas, boba, and grab-and-go food. Its location offers plenty of outdoor seating next to the garden's beautiful lake, with a view of the Suzhou-style pavilions on either side. It's the perfect place to enjoy the gardens while having a quick sip of Milk Tea.“
