i love this place! i'm there every friday. the fish is always on point. the customer service is the best. mr. joe, i love him he has the best attitude and daniel mannerisms amazing. please let them know that dione sent you. lol i'm there favorite. they are so welcoming.
The hard fried catfish was delicious. I had greens and red beans & rice for sides. They were good, but maybe they could use some smoked turkey or, even better, ham hocks. The sizes of the sides were a bit small. However, enough fish was served. The sweet potato pie was delicious. Good fried catfish is hard to find. I will definitely order from them again.

I was on my way to get chicken wings but drove past Mel's Fish Shack and am so happy that I chose Mel's instead!
