Good American comfort food. Decent coffee. Good customer service. Tough metered street parking and paid lots. The loud music and small dining area makes it hard to have a conversation and hear the person you’re dining with. The restaurant shares restrooms with the flower Mart vendors so the hallway to the bathroom smells like fresh flowers?? . The restrooms are shabby…think public park restrooms..
When i go to the fashion district, I make sure to have Breakfast at Poppy +Rose. Usually it is a perfect experience. Food and server were outstanding as usual. Not a big deal, but I have a comment for the host. In my open tqble reservation, I always request a booth or a table in a low traffic area.
