Too dark, even in the daytime. Uneven floors. The karaoke was way too loud. The drinks were a little pricier than I expected, even for LA. We eventually sat outside, but outside is on a sidewalk on a busy street, no atmosphere.
Loved the karaoke but crazy loud and not easy move around.
Great atmosphere and very social crowd.
Andrew took care of me so well. I was unsure of what drink I wanted and he was very helpful to what vibe I wanted.

Known as one of the gems of Los Angeles, this friendly bar has a chill atmosphere created by the warm bartenders and bouncers. The dark interior adds to the vibe, and the place is known for its amazing food, including crispy fried items with a hint of rosemary. Enjoy happy hour deals like $9 well drinks and tall cocktails served in shakers. Karaoke nights are fun and laid back, making it a perfect spot for a birthday or a night out to sing a few tunes. While the bathrooms could use some updating and parking can be an issue, the overall experience is enjoyable. With trivia, karaoke, good drinks, and awesome staff, R Bar is a great place to hang out and enjoy good company.
