Ruben's is a solid, reliable taco truck in this area. Whether it's past midnight or it's pouring rain or incredibly windy, I can always rely on Ruben's being there. I think where Ruben's really shines are the non-standard menu items that you wouldn't normally find at a taco stand. Favorite taco truck on the West Side. Way more flavorful than El Palador or La Poblanita down the street, which are both more expensive, but I definitely recommend sticking with the classics (tacos) as I noticed the specialty items (like the fries/nachos) can be a bit expensive. Love them. Nachos were exactly what I wanted. Tacos value to taste is a Yes. I love all their hot sauces. And the spicy Jalepeno onion radish mix. I'm sure there's a name for this, but whatever. Very quick too!
