The Escondite is a hidden gem in downtown LA! Great vibes, delicious comfort food, and a wide selection of drinks. Perfect for a casual hangout with friends or a relaxed night out. Can't wait to go back!
We had a great time at Escondite, the patio is great, heated & enclosed enough to keep much of the weather from you. The interior reminds me of a few Seattle bars I've been to. Narrow, booths, antler chandeliers. It seems decidedly Northwest. While I enjoyed the gig, the place isn't really set up for a rock/punk show. It seems to me designed for a low key band where patrons would enjoy the music from their seats. Well drinks are about $10 & this place seems to love Malort!
