“Delicious! Filling! Fresh ingredients! We had a group of four. Two California burritos, a burger and fries, and a veggie quesadilla. Each one of us enjoyed our selection and said we’d order it again. Juan and staff are great, personable, accommodating, and professional. I’m so glad they opened the Frogs-Ty!Vegetarian options: They have a veggie burrito, veggie taco, and veggie quesadilla, all delicious!”

“Visiting Sierraville in July 2022, I never expected to discover amazing food there (being a very small town). I accidentally hit Farmhouse Cafe on July 4th, just looking for a beer and some nibbles. They were serving a special bbq dinner for the 4th of July. I had brisket and sausage; it was just amazing. On a scale of 1 to 10, *everything* was at least a 15. The baked beans and the strawberry shortcake were a 20. The service too; I left a 40% tip that day. Returning to Sierraville in June 2023, I desperately wanted to squeeze in a meal at the Farmhouse Cafe again. Was only able to make it in for lunch. I thought I was shortchanging myself by coming in for lunch instead of dinner. But I can’t imagine anyone in California had a better lunch than me that day. For just $15 too! What I had was brisket sandwich. For the bread, I said chef’s choice. Smart move. It came with an outstanding Texas toast, perfect texture. I will have to dig out photographs of that sandwich later (can’t find them right now). The brisket was as thick as the Texas toast, and the whole sandwich was just incredible. Fries too. We ended with chef’s choice for dessert, and that was outstanding too. I do plan to have at least one meal here every time I come back to Sierraville!”
