“Decided to stop by here on the way to LA after a delicious ice cream treat. We ordered quesadillas and their tacos. The food was spot on and this is after us having some ice cream. The food is prepared outside on the parking lot in front of the store. I love their green sauce and they’re very generous with their cilantro and onions. The service was amazing as the young lady made great recommendations and she was very nice. The ambience is nice because you have a choice of sitting outside on a nice day or if it’s cold you have the choice to sit inside the marketplace.“

“My hubby and I have eaten here a few times but to go. We got a little bit hungry and decided to eat some lunch and dine in. The worker was very welcoming and inviting. Great customer service. We grabbed combo with 2 chicken sandwich and fries. My hubby got the mild and I got hot. Didn't think it would be like fuego in your mouth but it sure was good. The worker then said " too spicy" ,I said yes and no. She then said it was the green reaper chili they use on their sandwiches. Then she then suggested I try their RIP...I was like next time we come I will 😬😬😬. Try their food if you like spicy and can take the heat then stop by. Food had flavor and was delicious. You won't be disappointed.“

“I'm at a loss for words, but I'll try my best. Food? Amazing! Perfect amount of seasoning and the portions are huge! And this is coming from a big dude. For the appetizers, my favorites were the Kashk E'bademjan (Eggplant Delight), Potato Salad, and the Hummus! They have more selections, but this is what I was able to try. I hear all are great! For the Entrees, ALL OF THEIR KABOBS ARE FIRE (MMM MMMM YUMMY). I had a sample of most them and in the islands, we would say "broke da mouf kine", which translates to, the food is *beep beep* GOOD! If you've never had Persian Food, or you love it, this is the restaurant for you! Drinks? I love Korean Soju and Cass beer, so yeah, +10 points from me. They do carry various Wines and Beers though...and of course your choice of Soda Pop. Atmosphere? It' gives you a Kewl Kids Vibe; a classy place where you can be yourself with family and friends and just enjoy each others company. You have your choice of Indoor and Outdoor dinning which is amazing. There's also a private room upstairs that can hold 20 people for a meal and karaoke (there is a fee to reserve, but very much worth it). Staff? We were greeted at the door as if we were coming home. Pasha and his staff go above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met. Their suggestions on meal and drink pairings are spot on. I can't thank Pasha and the crew for making our group outing a success. Overall? I'll be going back and I hope that you add this restaurant to your list of 'go to' places to dine at. You will not be disappointed, I promise you. (Unless your attitude stinks or you're not willing to try new food ‍) Pasha again, thank you so much for the hospitality. “Utsav Indian Cuisine is hands down the best Indian food restaurant in the South Bay. Just real authentic food without all the pretense of some of the beach city places that supposedly sell "Indian" food. The lunch buffet is reasonably priced and always well stocked and the wait staff are very pleasant and attentive to all our needs.“

The only reason why I put 4 stars is because the drive thru line always block the exit of the parking I have seen people getting into fight and many cars honking at each other because they block the exit line with the drive thru line. I strongly believe management should simply fix that by putting “Keep Out” or “Keep Clear” on the pavement to void any issues with customers. Also good luck if you need to use the man’s restroom and someone is taking their sweet time since there is no stalls I mean again management could easily put one since there is 2 toilets.“

“I was there in California from another state. We ordered jalapeños beef burgers, halwa puri platters, beef seekh kabobs with rice platter, masala fries, mango lassi and sweet lassi. Each and every single food item was fresh and hot, seekh kabobs were so juicy and perfect flavor, cholay were soft and with some light gravy to eat with puri. Aalo were soft yet some small size chunks in plate with light gravy, and halwa that you just don’t want to stop eating. My kids are very picky eaters but they loved each and every single thing we ordered from this restaurant. Beef burger was so yummy that my daughter kept ordering the next time we went there again. We ended up going 3 times in our 1 week trip. We tried their fried chicken the third day, oh my gosh it’s just one of the best fried chicken ever. We were so glad that we were able to find a halal restaurant with all the choices at one place for our kids and adults. Last but not the least, their prices were very reasonable and the staff was very nice and friendly.“

“Making the most out of this Covid-19 situation for pick-up. Order was secure, exact, and made fresh. They were backed up as when I first got there they were a little short staffed as The Friday Dinner rush was starting, but they kept their cool, their extra hand showed up, and they did well. Just make yourself visible so they got your name assuming you pre-ordered for pick-up. The short wait will not disappoint. And they definitely didn't forget my white sauce - always my biggest fear as it's truly the essence of this place!“

“It's a BANGER!! Now and days with ridiculous prices for restaurants, I am taking my hard earned money to small business, mom and pop restaurants. The food is better and you get more bang for the buck then going to a large scale fast food restaurant. This place is amazing! Great food and great customer service and proportion size is equal to the dollar amount. The shawrama bowl was a huge highlight for me out of my 2-day binge at this place. I will be coming here again as a Mediterranean favorite when I am in the area.“

“We first found Big Al's Pizzeria on IG. All of their pizzas caught our eye because of the unique flavors that they serve. We know that often times when you see something on IG and go experience a place in person it may not be as expected. That was NOT the case with Big Al's Pizzeria. WOW!! Can't even tell you how much they exceeded our expectations when it came to the flavors and textures that they deliver. You can tell that they use High Quality, Fresh Ingredients and take pride in their creations, especially with everything being homemade!! I know a lot of people say that it takes a while to receive their pizza but we can tell you IT IS WORTH THE WAIT AND CALORIES!! The combinations on their pizzas are next level and so fun and unique! The pizza dough has the perfect fluffiness, chewy texture and flavor. The wings WOW! Definitely in our top 5 of favorites! So crispy and flavorful! OOh plus the Brisket Sandwich and the bread they use... ufffff!!! Don't forget about Dessert! Even if you fill up on pizza you better at least take a slice home with you because IT IS WORTH IT!! They are large, creamy, flavorful and just AMAZEBALLS! We got the Tiramisu and it was NEXT LEVEL! Everything is OUT OF THIS WORLD and we can't recommend them enough!“

A) Yes, Rodney. A few Muslim gym buddies o' mine kept recommending Pak Halal, so of course I had to give the place a shot.

Q) What did you order?
A) Being my first time, I gave the Special Dishes display a thorough perusing.

Knowing I wanted a beef or mutton entree, after much thought & deliberation, I went all in on Pak Halal's Beef Nihari.

Q) Rodney, how was the Beef Nihari?
A) Spiced tender beef, swimming in flavorful broth. I enjoyed the Beef Nihari. I prefer a solid amount of fat to meat, and the Beef Nihari had just what I was looking for. Ample portions, with enough to fill up on. Speaking of filling up, the ginormous Garlic Naan provided a lot of garlicky carbs, made all the more better when soaking up with the Beef Nihari broth

Q) How was the service, and what are the seating arrangements?
A) Rodney, the service was good. The wait wasn't unreasonable. Being a small deli, there is a table or two inside & outside. Pak Halal is more an order ahead, grab n' go eatery. The railing outside Pak Halal acts as a standing communal table, in which I used to dine on my meal.

Q) Rodney, would you recommend Pak Halal?
A) Absolutely, Rodney! The food was great at Pak Halal, and when I'm in a hurry and not looking for a sit-down restaurant experience, I know I can head over to Pak Halal and order something to go, or enjoy a quick meal on the railing, before life's troubles beckon me, elsewhere“
