“Went kinda late night after the gym bc I was craving some sushi and when I arrived it seemed like a little hole in the wall. Honestly the chef is the cutest most awesome humble guy. He brought our food out and there was a little heart on the plate made of eel sauce and spicy mayo and he said don’t break it. Fish was fresh and the vibe was immaculate actually so surprised. The sauce was spicy as it should and the onion cured with serranos was perfect for eating alone like a taco. We had asada, buche and chorizo ​​and it didn't disappoint. “Consistently good food! We always go here and usually have a line. They have 2 small tables on the side, no seats. Tried the chicken, asada, lengua, and al pastor. $2/taco as of 5/2025. Park on the street. Ralphs parking lot now has a sign that their customers can not park there.“

“We had an early dinner here on a Wednesday prior to a theatre tech rehearsal. Despite the troubled neighborhood, this place is an urban oasis and has a safe parking lot. We told our kind wait person, Sierra, about our time crunch. Meals came out within 10 minutes of giving our order. The gourmet Mexican food is mucho delicious and the happy hour prices (on both food and drink) made our experience a delight.“

“We had a burrito recommended by the chef and the Birria plate. Both delicious and service was very quick and friendly. Nowhere to sit in the immediate area which isn’t their fault of course. We sat across the street at the shaded bus station and managed just fine :)“

“The tacos are really good; I tried the fish, asada and Shrimp tacos and they do give very generous portions. The tacos are huge and they sell them 2 for $7 but each tacos are the size of 2+ tacos. Great service from a family owned business that I recommend to try if your in the area. Not the greatest area but the food is legit. Check it out.“

“Great asada and al pastor tacos!! Friendly service. Went on a Wednesday around 1pm. 3 people had already ordered ahead of me and 3 people ordered right after me, so I felt good about the truck having plenty of customers.

I'd had asada tacos at Baja for $1.50 each on Tuesday and was curious to see how they compared.

This place won by a landslide. I ordered 2 asada and 2 al pastor tacos. The tacos still only cost $2.50 each and all sorts of meats. The pickled carrot, onion, and jalapenos were ? as were the grilled onions and chile. Green sauce better than Baja as well!! Also came with 2 generous lime wedges, radish, cucumber, and some corn chips.

Flavor of tacos was good but everything else on the plate is what made it phenomenal. All the flavors combined ??

Definitely try this place. I had to wait maybe 10-15 minutes after ordering, but it was worth it. You can tell he cooks with love and passion.“

“We visited from out of state and we where looking for some authentic ceviche/sea food. We ordered a ceviche de camaron y ceviche mixto. Also ordered tacos de asada I highly recommend this place. Everything we ordered was so good! Definitely a must try!“

“This my first time coming here and I have to say the food was delicious def worth to try out especially after working out at the gym. I am definitely coming back next time.
I love how close the restaurant is to home def 5 stars. The only reason the atmosphere is a 4 is because lots of homeless passed by while I was eating my food. Other than that the restaurant is great.
