“Our server was not top notch. Failed a few times. Didn't check in after meal served. Ordered desert for my dad's 89th birthday and table was cleared and we waited at least 20 minutes or more.”

“Came here for lunch and it was overall good, but a couple of hiccups that prevented it from being a 5-star experience. The food was overall good. I got the taco salad (La Compuesta) and while the filling was good, the outer shell of the salad was very stale. It was a bit disappointing as I typically like to break pieces off and eat them with the filling.

The service was solid, but when it came to paying the bill they had misplaced it credit card. It never made it back to me. When I went up to tell them, another guest overheard my conversation and found it on the floor right in front of the entrance/exit to the restaurant. Thankfully nothing bad happened, but that's not great.

Ambiance is nice inside with plenty of room for groups both large and small.

Overall, it was a good meal. A little pricey (over $50 for two meals w/ tip), but at least the food was overall good and the service was good too. This wouldn't be a regular stop for me, but it's a good option in Manteca.”

Recent visit was very good.
We had spicy ramen. It is really on spicy side, not just a hint or kick. Be warned, but if you love spicy, I recommend you to try. This was my personal order.

Tempura was great, made to order. Just fried with fresh ingredients. It came with shrimp, and variety of vegetables; sweet potato, broccoli and squash.
Excellent pair with their udon.

We also had fried oysters. This is one of our favorite appetizers. Their freshly fried oyster didn’t disappoint. Sauce and lemon brings the flavor together. But to be honest, fried oysters as it is was already good.

Sushi and bento box were great too. Our family enjoyed our lunch in our latest visit. Looking forward to our next visit.”

The menu offers a diverse range of traditional Indian dishes, and I was impressed by the variety of options. I started with the Non-Veg platter and I loved the Tikkas and Seekh kababs, which were tender and melt in mouth. For my main course, I opted for the Chicken Tikka Masala, which was cooked to perfection. The chicken was tender, and the creamy tomato sauce was rich and aromatic. What truly stood out was the quality of the ingredients and the care with which each dish was prepared. You must try their in-house made sweets too. The service was also top-notch, with friendly staff happy to answer questions and make recommendations. I'm so impressed with Junoon Indian Cuisine that I've already recommended it to friends and family. “Boy we love this place. Nestled within the woods of Great Wolf Lodge you can’t beat this spot. It is perfect after a long day of fun with the kids in the waterslides. Lucky for us we have the luxury of leaving the littles with our teens so we get a couple hours of adult time! And hey, after the day of water slides and pool fun, they’re all knocking out anyway.

So, now for my recommendations. You absolutely HAVE to try the firecracker shrimp as an appetizer. Perfect crunch and the sauce is out of this world. My wife went for the steak frites which were great and I opted for the spicy chicken sandwich; super flavorful and the fries were great too.

Woody made us some awesome drinks too. I’ve never had a pineapple margarita with vodka and Jameson and a splash of blue caracauo but it was delish! Next up he did a coconut margarita with vodka and it was even better. His energy and enthusiasm was awesome and we really enjoyed our time! Thanks woody and team!”

“We live out of town and decided to try this cafe. The staff was extremely attentive and the food was top-notch. The owner was present and very personable, as well as helping the wait staff. I can’t say enough about the quality of food and how wonderful it tastes! The portions were large and our coffee mug stayed full. We will definitely make the drive to come back often.”

“Best Indian food in Manteca, 209. I tried their Daal tadka, garlic naan , Malayi chaap, mint mojito and paneer wrap. Everything was amazing. This is our go to place for family dine in and takeouts. They have a very clean dinning area as well. Staff is very friendly.

“I’m not from anywhere, unless you count Fremont, Ca. and my Parents always taught me to be open to trying new food, experiences, and gave me a Passion for Life, That being said, I tried it, I never liked it, until I tasted something called Halal prepared Lamb and Beef and Extra Long Grain Rice and more. I haven’t had anything that I didn’t like or wouldn’t re-order from this local Family Owned establishment! I think one of the most amazing things is trying to describe the flavors of the different spices that aren’t used and typical ““ American cuisine. I found this in my travels to other cultures with other foods where you ask the person to describe the flavor, and they can’t. They are at a loss for words. And so am I? But I know that I won’t be disappointed with anything that I order.”

Online hours say open from 9am ro 6pm, i drive my semi.They're to get lunch arrive at 2:56 pm for them to tell me they are not open that they are closing at 3:00 . They have a walk up window to order/pick up and they have a cute outdoor patio area you can eat at. They were very quick with the order and friendly as well. “La Estrella has very good food but the quality/taste is inconsistent. This was our first visit the the restaurant. We had a variety of items to eat and drink. The carrot juice (Zanahoria) was freshly made and excellent. I believe rice and beans are a great litmus test for a Mexican Restaurant and theirs were very good. Creamy beans and flavorful rice that tasted freshly prepared. My shrimp taco was very good but not a lot of shrimp inside. My Chile Relleno was fantastic, I wish I just order these. A pastor enchilada was only OK, a bit dry, bland and disappointing. We ordered flan for desert and it as terrible. We had two small bites and left the rest. So as you can see from this review, food ranges from fantastic too terrible. Pick carefully and you will have a great meal. Place is super clean inside and nice atmosphere. The salsa bar is excellent.”

She orders ahead and its ready by the time we arrive from a little over a mile away. We've been trying different breakfast items, and so far everything is delicious and comes out fresh and hot. We sit out front at the table and chairs provided, which unfortunately is right in front of the parking spaces and adjacent to the drive thru exit so theres a lot of vehicle noise and exhaust at times but its not overwhelming. The staff is usually polite and efficient. overall its a pleasant experience.”

“Always pleasant, consistent and delicious. The staff are always super nice and the place is very clean. We drove across town to specifically go there for mouthwatering burgers and OMG the fries!!!

Parking: It’s a very bust strip mall with lots of food choices so lunch parking can be busy.”
