I had an excellent experience at the Manteca Ono Hawaiian BBQ thanks to Manager Marisa. I accidentally placed an online order for the Modesto location, and when I contacted the Modesto store, they were unable to help me resolve the issue. 10/27/25, clean restaurant, good service and the Island Fire Chicken mini meal did not disappoint. Kudos to the cook. It came out perfect.
Drive through always takes forever. I understand the food is fresh but you could have the cars park in front to make the drive through more efficient. If you have time, drive through is perfect. If you’re in a rush, go somewhere else.

Ono Hawaiian BBQ is a clean restaurant with fast service and generous portions. Customers enjoy the BBQ Chicken, Chicken Katsu, Teriyaki Chicken, and Spicy Chicken plates, served with rice and salad. The Macaroni Salad is a tasty side dish. Despite a minor mistake in the order, the friendly staff quickly resolved the issue. Visitors appreciate the great food quality and plan to return for more delicious meals.
