“Absolutely LOVE this place. I had the crab and shrimp omelette with a Lou Mosa. I would recommend you come early so you can enjoy your breakfast with a beautiful view. Best Breakfast in Monterey!!!! The atmosphere is fun and warm and exciting every time I come.“
“We came on our honeymoon and met family. My husband and I had omelets, and my cousins daughter had Country Benedict. My great aunt had pancakes. The breakfast was amazing. My one advice is to get there early. They were a packed house. The whole time, we were there.“
“This place is amazing! Came to the area for vacation with the family and I love good local food and I can say this is the place! I had the chorizo scramble and let me say “chefs kiss”! This is a must visit place for food I will definitely remember this one. The wait time wasn’t to bad considering it was Friday of Easter weekend, the staff where pleasant and super friendly.“
“I was undecided between the breakfast quesadilla and a benedict. The server, Azeneth, informed me that Wave is renowned for its holiday sauce, so I opted for the heirloom tomato and basil benedict. I requested it with bacon but ultimately removed it. It was exceptionally delectable! I also ordered a caramel latte, which was of exceptional quality, suggesting that they source their coffee locally from a reputable brand. Azeneth provided attentive service throughout my meal. The restaurant is situated in Monterey, directly on the beach, offering a picturesque setting. I indulged in a delightful Italian fillo. If you are considering a breakfast visit, I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment.Parking: There are a few complimentary parking spaces available at the restaurant's location.“
“Pangea is one of my favorite restaurants because the menu has something for everyone. The food is delicious, prepared with high quality ingredients, and is well-priced for our area. The service is attentive and professional, great bar! The only issue I had was that my father is hard of hearing and the ambient noise is moderately loud, had a hard time hearing him recount how he has been dining in that location for 50 years, under restaurant names like the Butcher Shop and the Jolly Roger. I wanted to better hear those stories. Not sure there is a fix. Otherwise, the vibe there is fun and vibrant. Love the cherry blossom art!“
“I made a quick trip this weekend to my hometown of Salinas for a cousin's funeral, and I found this place on Yelp (where else). My brother and I were hungry for breakfast and this place did not disappoint. I ordered the chilaquiles verdes with over medium eggs, beans and rice, while my brother ordered the country eggs Benedict (sausage Patty instead of Canadian bacon). The salsa verde on the chilaquiles had just enough bite without being soggy, the tortilla chips were nice and crispy, and the eggs were cooked just right. The beans and rice complimented the meal perfectly. I was going to order the optional carne asada to go on top of the chilaquiles, but honestly, I didn't miss it. The Señora, presumably the proprietor, came by our table three times with a big smile to see how we liked it. No small feat, considering how busy they were. We are very well for $41 plus tip. I will definitely return to this excellent local spot when I am in town.“
“Came here on the recommendation of our hotel concierge as we were going to elkhorn slough. Great recommendation! Had the eggs benedict with skirt steak, and it was delicious. Buttermilk pancakes for my daughter were fantastic, and my wife had Dave's omelette and loved it. Overall I would come back here again and again, but do not live close enough, so it may just be today and again tomorrow. Then I'll have to wait for my next trip down highway 1.“
“Loved this place. Just the owner and her husband. Will definitely come back again. Going to be my go-to Chinese place in Marina. So thankful my family and I tried it. She was very kind and gave us complimentary tempura. More than enough food for the four of us!!“
