The food was fine but not excellent. It felt like the kitchen was in a rut and just pushing it out. The restaurant is lovely, but the hard surfaces make it noisy even though it wasn't very full. Staff was friendly and helpful and served us well. Prices are high for the size and quality of the food.
My go to in Northern Monterey County for years, always great food, ambience,& fabulous service. I could eat there dailyand never get tired of dining there. The oysters are beyond wonderful and everything is so fresh and perfectly executed. Take all my out-of-town guests there, and just love it so much ...

We found the starters and shared plates to be tasty and creative. One of the party had the Monterey Bay fried fish with the side of garlic fries. While good we felt the plate price of $36 for the combined was too high compared to fish and chips entrees at nearby Monterey restaurants. The lemon olive oil cake for dessert was good. Overall good food in a relaxed environment.
