“We stopped by this neighborhood dive bar for some drinks! Typically they have live music/bands but we were a bit early for that! We ended ordering some sparkling wine and some fish tacos! Surprisingly the tacos were quite delicious and the service was very friendly! Overall a fun and lively neighborhood dive bar with music! We plan to be back the next time we are back in bay area!“
“We live 5 min away and Overlook is a great easy place to grab dinner in the Berkeley hills. The staff was quite knowledgeable on the beer on tap. And the atmosphere is relaxing and quiet. We're definitely making this a regular go to place for meals.“
“Very nice eatery, ate there twice first time was dinner, had the lamb chops, very excellent, 2nd time breakfast buffet, it was good bacon, sausage, eggs (kinda watery) but edible potatoes wit red peppers and onions and cranberry juice. However you know I had to drink some mimosa's not bad for 30$ bucks. The drinks were more then the meal but I definitely would eat there again“
“Reading these reviews, the good ones, bring back wonderful memories of the past. I was there most Friday afternoon/evenings from 90 to 93 when stationed at CSTSC Mare Island as an instructor. Great to see this place still in business. Great people then and apparently now.“

“I started with a Lavender Margarita. It was way sweeter than I would’ve liked it to be. It packed quite a wallop but was overshadowed by the sweetness. 3 out of 5 ⭐️ I toyed with the idea of Pato Chicharrone (duck cracklings) with pickled red onions and aioli. A different twist on an old-style recipe. The ratio of fat to meat was divine in its flavor, and the onions and aioli set off all the flavors. 5 out of 5 ⭐️ Next was the Bruselas (crispy Brussels Sprouts) tossed in honey Dijon with pistachios! Sí!! Bravo!! Each sprout was cut in half lengthwise, and the layers were opened so the flavor permeated the entire piece of sprout, yummy! Nice touch and not too sweet. It was served a little cooler than what I would have preferred. 4 out of 5 ⭐️ Both tapas were generous portions and served as my meal for the evening. I ordered the Beet Salad to go. It’s done with mixed greens, roasted beets, red onion, feta cheese, almonds, with lemon vinaigrette on the side. I had a sneak peek and it proves to be delicious and so darn healthy! 5 out of 5 ⭐️“

“Nice little neighborhood bar in downtown Benicia off first street. Open pretty late but still closes earlier than 2am. They have late night eats, TVs, and a happy hour menu. The bartenders were friendly and helped us with our drinks and their food menu didn’t look bad. Both indoor and outdoor space. Parking isn’t too hard as there is plenty of street parking around this area. Their starburst, gummy bear, and green tea shots during happy hour are $5 and pretty tasty and sweet.“
“I frickin loved this place!!!
Cannot wait to play here again.
Only thing that slightly sucked was the bar and beverage cart situation at the time we went.
There was no bar, the also had something going on with the beverage carts.
We didn't see the cart until the 17th hole.
Other than that, this place was awesome.
The right amount of challenging and the right amount of easy for a decent golfer such as myself.

“Six Eleven is an American bistro in Martinez, housed in what looks like a former mansion. The lemon chicken piccata was vibrant with lemon tartness, and the grilled, tender chicken breast cutlet satisfied with bursts of salt and sweetness from the capers and diced tomatoes. The linguine had a perfect al dente bite.
Fontina and parmesan are packed into the arancini rice balls, their boldness oozing out with each bite. Does creamy chipotle dip make sense to serve with them? Not authentically, but who cares when you’re eating arancini as light and fluffy as these?
The braised short rib pappardelle is served with a marinara sauce, Grana Padano cheese, and parsley. The pasta and sauce were beautifully flavored and prepared. Marinara and short rib can sometimes be too rich in combination for me, but I wanted more of this dish.
Six Eleven has had two “award-winning” cocktails on their specialty list when I’ve visited, though I’m unsure what award they’ve won. The Plant Mom is one, made with vodka, lemon juice, limoncello, cherry bitters, fresh mint, egg whites, and a rosemary-rose-lavender syrup. That’s a lot to pack into one drink!
And the Plant Mom does so masterfully. I’d give it an award of my own for each sip of its smooth, elegant blend that hinted of herbaceous and floral flavors.
On my second visit, the Pecan Sandra was an unusual choice for me to start a meal with, as it’s solidly on the dessert side of cocktails. But I wanted just one drink, and the ingredient list assured me this was one I couldn’t miss: brown butter fat-washed bourbon, lemon juice, pecan syrup, black walnut bitters, chocolate bitters, and candied pecans. It was as rich and luscious as you’d expect from those ingredients. And filling!“
