“I really enjoy a beautifully cooked piece of salmon, which is not easy to come by. Quite often when I order seafood out at a restaurant it is overcooked. I can guarantee when I go to Roxx on Main. My salmon is perfection. Moist tender and juicy like it should be. I do enjoy her menu, which is very versatile.“

The food here is simply incredible. I highly recommend the Braised Short Rib Pappardelle - it’s a flavor explosion that will leave you wanting more. The Market Greens Salad with Grilled Salmon is another standout, perfectly balancing fresh greens with succulent fish.
But save room for dessert! Their dessert menu is to die for. The Mixed Berry Tart is a delightful burst of fruity goodness, while the Banana Bread Pudding and Tiramisu are pure indulgence. It’s hard to choose a favorite!
What really sets Six-Eleven apart is their exceptional staff. Cory, the bar manager, is a master mixologist who can whip up any drink you desire. Baxter’s has a welcoming vibe when you first walk in, and it gets even better after you meet some of the team! My server, Michelle, absolutely made the evening for me! She had some great menu suggestions and top-notch service and was great to chat with! Kenneth also made sure that everything tasted great, and I was enjoying my visit! Hats off to the Chef and her ability to create some unique dishes!

I appreciated the menu, which has a little bit of everything. I instantly got that feeling that I was in for a treat. To kick things off, I went with the Baked Brie En Croute, which was outstanding! My main entree was a tough choice, though. There was a special, Gumbo Pasta, which I had never encountered before and piqued my interest. Let me tell you, this special should be on the menu, and if it is available when you stop in, it's a must!

I was torn about dessert, but I went with the New Orleans Bread Pudding at Michelle's suggestion! I'm sure all the desserts are fantastic, but this one has got to be at the top of the list!

All in all, if you can swing by Baxter’s, don't pass it up! Well worth it!“

“You have to go at least once. I like the staff and the bar is close to the water with good outdoor seating available. They have bar food but have a good dinner as well. During the warmer months, they had outdoor music on Sunday's, but the owner was talking about getting some full-time entrainment at some point.

This bar Toots is a big part of why I wanna go back, it's an amazingly cool dive bar with a back room stage for live music. Last night when I went it was a punk rock band and they were really good. The crowd as you might imagine was colorful and surprisingly diverse. The bar keep was friendly and on it so my drink was never empty, they had a really good porter on tap and it was always filled completely to the rim where you have to sip the top down just to pick it up. I wish I had stayed longer to see how the scene goes, my feeling is it's a great place to hangout on a Friday night, and if you happen to get bored there's like another bar a block or so away you can go between. I saw several small groups of peeps just hanging out together up n down the main drag. Parking might be an issue so either go early or Uber. I loved it!“

We love to start with either the prawns wrapped in pancetta with pesto aioli appetizer or the bay shrimp on butter lettuce salad. The prawns are full of flavor and great to share, and the bay shrimp salad is a great portion, small meal-size with delicate balance of flavors. The carpaccio is also a favorite of our family, we order it with the arugula, red onion and dijon dressing. You cannot go wrong when ordering your favorite Italian entrees; we've literally never had even an average experience here! Pastas are perfectly cooked, well sauces and the portions are abundant. “Been here about 4 times and honestly the tribute bands have all been quite impressive & fun. We’ve seen tribute bands to The Smiths, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, De Peche Mode, Alice In Chains here. We also have noticed that the audience here are generally unusually friendly.
We’ve seen a few regulars while here & folks are open to chat, vibe in the music, really fun which is a welcome change from some unwelcoming “ too cool” crowds in other joints.
Parking was easy in the back, drink prices are reasonable, there are places to sit & chill and some cool video & pinball games too. When patio is open there’s been food trucks - this last visit they didn’t have any -but did allow us to DoorDash our own food. We had lots of Palomas & beers while listening to live music - great time!“

“It was my first time at the Beverly Elks Lodge. The have a full bar and kitchen if you're hungry. I was there because on Wednesday nights, for a nominal charge of $10, they teach Chicago Style Steppin' . I has a great time and met some new friends. I can't wait to go back next week.“

“While I hate to cheat on Martinez, CJ's is a larger, more sophisticated but not too, version of our once Ferry Street and a far less dysfunctional version of Whiskey Lane, the latter of which I frequented to write until I found CJs where you can meet new great people, or sit in your corner and write. All folks are good folks at CJs. And that's my run on sentence on that matter.“
