“Always a fun time, if you havent tried it its worth a stop. Coffee shop by day, bar evenings thurs-sun. They have an awesome Happy hour on thursdays at the time of review (5$ beer, 7$ mixed drink if I recall right?). If I do get a mixed drink, this is the place to get it. Pictured is the egg white sour. They do breakfast, but not dinner foods durinb bar service. Also, as a plus, they usually don't have live music, so you can actually hear the other person you're talking to.“

“While I hate to cheat on Martinez, CJ's is a larger, more sophisticated but not too, version of our once Ferry Street and a far less dysfunctional version of Whiskey Lane, the latter of which I frequented to write until I found CJs where you can meet new great people, or sit in your corner and write. All folks are good folks at CJs. And that's my run on sentence on that matter.“

“This Night Club is Professional, the Security is on alert for any situation, that may occur or to be prevented before it happens. Renovated with a new elegant look, makes this location a 5 star with added Bartenders that are friendly & cool! It's well known, for the Latin & hip-hop music played by dj's but also live music to entertain, young groups of 21+, Prices for drinks are, good! It is a small location so best to arrive before or at 10pm, it gets full really fast! Dress code is enforce, so dress sharp.“

“Best vibes for sure! Met Westley who told us about the place during a visit to Napa, and we're so glad we stopped by! It happened to be 80s prom nigh, and it felt like the entire little town of Benicia was there to party. Young to old. Everyone was all smiles, dancing, and courteous. The live band was top notch. Bartenders were personable and attentive. It had a real small town, close knit feel. Everyone knew and loved Westley. Nicest guy. We didn't try any food, so no notes there. Hopefully we'll make our way there again someday.“

“From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding. Our waitress was welcoming, attentive, and made us feel like valued guests. It's clear they genuinely care about providing a great dining experience.

The food was absolutely delicious! The mango margaritas are hands down my favorite, they're perfectly balanced, refreshing, and the perfect complement to the meal. The chile rellenos plate was incredible, with flavorful peppers, delicious filling, and just the right amount of sauce. Every bite tasted fresh and homemade. Reminds me of my mom's cooking. I will definitely be coming back for the flavors and feeling of home.“

“I started with a Lavender Margarita. It was way sweeter than I would’ve liked it to be. It packed quite a wallop but was overshadowed by the sweetness. 3 out of 5 ⭐️ I toyed with the idea of Pato Chicharrone (duck cracklings) with pickled red onions and aioli. A different twist on an old-style recipe. The ratio of fat to meat was divine in its flavor, and the onions and aioli set off all the flavors. 5 out of 5 ⭐️ Next was the Bruselas (crispy Brussels Sprouts) tossed in honey Dijon with pistachios! Sí!! Bravo!! Each sprout was cut in half lengthwise, and the layers were opened so the flavor permeated the entire piece of sprout, yummy! Nice touch and not too sweet. It was served a little cooler than what I would have preferred. 4 out of 5 ⭐️ Both tapas were generous portions and served as my meal for the evening. I ordered the Beet Salad to go. It’s done with mixed greens, roasted beets, red onion, feta cheese, almonds, with lemon vinaigrette on the side. I had a sneak peek and it proves to be delicious and so darn healthy! 5 out of 5 ⭐️“

“Amazing food and service. The flavors were amazing and delicious. The beets appetizer were very good. The Lamb Kabobs are excellent. Inspiration of this restaurant is from Middle East, Africa and California as per the owners comments. We loved all the menu and the trout and Lamb bastila were the highlights“
