“I ordered on the app for pickup ASAP. When I arrived 20 mins later it wasn’t ready. The young man apologized and said he didn’t see the ticket. I could see he and his co-worker were busy preparing pizzas and other things. He quickly made my pizza and offered me a tub of cookie dough for my wait. He was polite, honest and I appreciated his attitude. The pizza was great as usual!“

“I don't understand why this place always seems so empty when I go there. The pizzas are pretty darn good, and the salad bar has everything. The guy at the counter has always been very nice to me. The only reason I didn't do a five-star is the salad bar stuff gets left out too long sometimes, but that would be fixed if more people would discover it.
... oh yeah, there are 3 pizza places in one short stretch. That makes it hard for everybody.

“It’s not bad. Just don’t get the pizzas that are already made. Have them make a fresh one for you. I read a couple reviews bagging on a couple of guys with tattoos working the register. I don’t know these guys personally. I do however, know that they’ve been working there since it opened. They actually run that whole restaurant. They do everything. They work their asses off. They’re just hard-working guys who are actually working and trying to make a living. Don’t judge them for that.“

“Cuz the service is outstanding however there product my boyfriend and I both got two slices of pizza each and it was 1621 a little sip but I got to stand with today's economy I think it's a little pricey but customer service is not that bad it's good. I'd have this over Little Caesars any day. And even probably Domino's you better for sure but pricier for sure.

“My wife really enjoys pizza from Smug's and says it is the best. I am usually not a big pizza fan so I feel it's pretty much the same as any other pizza. It's a takeout place so don't plan on eating in. The service is very quick and friendly though. We usually get the herbivore pizza.“

“APD has probably the best pizza in the Arcata/Eureka area, but check your pizza. I come and get a pizza here probably twice a month. I always order the same thing, half just cheese, half pepperoni and jalapeño, and more than half the time it comes out half pepperoni, half jalapeño. Then I have to wait for them to remake it. Not sure why that happens so often. But great pizza. Just be sure to check it.“

Management was training a few new employees at the time and was very patient, communicative, and fundamental in their explaination and treated the trainee with respect and understanding. It was pleasant to witness. Ingredients are fresh, pizzas are delicious and employees are courteous and respectful.“
