“The pastries are on the same tier as the best pastry shops in major urban areas. The almond olive oil cake was the biggest standout with its crispy sugary top, better than at the famous spots in NYC. Scones were light and fluffy with crispy crags. Croissants were crispy and flaky. The cafe has a beautiful outdoor garden space in the back.“
“Best baked goods around - especially the filled pastries with blackberry or blueberry with cream cheese. Perfectly soft on the inside and crispy, flaky outside! The Mexican food not so much as our “taco” was over cooked, dried out chicken with onion on a disintegrating corn tortilla - no salsa offered. So will definitely rerun for the baked goods but not the tacos.“

“My 10 yo daughter wanted to try macarons for the first tine. We had just moved to Ft Bragg and A Sweet Affair was the place for our testing! OMG! Delish! Everything looked beautiful and delicious. I will be ordering a Sacher Torte for my bday. I can’t wait!!“
“The best. The Hannes Austrian seed bread is my favorite... wish I could get easily in Nevada County.“

“I found this spot and many were recommending the raspberry danish which was so delicious. I already had my coffee but they have so many choices for a delicious Italian soda. My husband enjoyed his hot chocolate and the ham, cheese and jalapeño danish. Nice and spicy. They have gluten-free options available as well. I’d definitely stop there again and if they were near my workplace in Oakland, those danishes would be on order frequently. Thank you so much for your hospitality. I enjoyed Fort Bragg and your bakery. I definitely recommend stopping here to enjoy some delicious treats and drinks.“
