This is the first time trying the place. Had tacos and quesadilla squash bloom. Everything was excellent and authentic. Tried all salsa and the Atomic Verde was the best. Definitely going back.

Casita's Taco Cocina Mexicana is a great local Mexican restaurant. It is a cute, casual, and small local shop, described as a total gem and a great place for authentic Mexican food. The atmosphere is good, and it functions primarily as a to-go place. The staff is very nice, helpful, and provides magnificent customer service, always greeting customers with a smile for a positive experience overall. The service is also fast.
The food is consistently fresh, tastes great, and is simply delicious. The menu is very standard but executed very well. A highlight is the complimentary chips served with a selection of salsas from a consistently fresh salsa bar, including a green tomatillo salsa. The homemade tortillas and freshly made flour tortillas are great. Specific items praised include the Bean and Cheese Burrito, Asada Tacos, Shrimp Taco, Chile Relleno, The Al Pastor burrito, shrimp cocktail, breakfast burrito, steak fajitas, Cali burrito, and tacos such as an original with carnitas, a fish taco, and a dorado taco with asada. The carnitas are well cooked, the fish taco is nicely breaded and flaky, and the steak fajitas are tender and well cooked. The Chile Relleno sauce is amazing with melty cheese. The Cali burrito is on the heavier side. It is considered the best Mexican food in Orange County by one reviewer. The restaurant has earned regular customers who highly recommend it and will definitely be back.
