“Great authentic Mexican food. The tacos are made with homemade tortillas which were delicious! The mole enchiladas were delicious and so were the chilaquiles. Delicious homemade salsas. Wonderful service and nice relaxing spot for an easy going and homey breakfast or lunch.“

“I live in Irvine, CA but our two local Baja's have closed. We have a remaining one but the food, service and atmosphere is 1 star. They charge for chips, sauce and are begrudging with any product.
We drive to Mission Viejo to the Baja on Alicia Parkway and it is wonderful. The staff are warm and friendly and the service and food are great. Worth the drive.“

“My go-to taqueria in south OC. A plethora of homemade salsas, personal bags of chips go with every meal. They often have eacabeche carrots and limes that you just have to ask for, but no extra charge. All of the employees are warm and inviting and very helpful. I LOVE PERLAS!!!!!!! Ps get the chicken mole soft tacos on taco Tuesday, you will not regret it!!!!“

“If I could give 10 stars they would get it! I rarely go online to write a review, and if I do it’s because I had a horrible experience. I wrote a positive review maybe twice in my life here’s my third. Start with the cashier, I really can’t say I ever had anyone serve me with a better attitude than the guy who helped me and I say right by the register and he kept that amazing attitude with all customers. At first I had 3 chicken tacos from the taco Tuesday deal (which I might say isn’t cheap, but quality costs) which were surprisingly good because I don’t love shredded chicken. The chicken was so good I decided to get an asada one as well just to make sure they really are as good as it seems. They crushed it, asada taco came to over 7$ after taxes and it glad to say I’ll be happy to pay that price anytime anywhere to get that same taco!“

“Where do I start with this place! Great food, great service, and amazing welcoming staff. Their lobster burrito was different to my palate but very delighting. Creamy delicious creative food. I’ve been to many places to eat and have never sent a review, but Taco Mesa hit it on the head for more. Fun Mexican food that makes you feel good about what you’re eating due to the healthy fresh food! Will definitely be back very soon.“

“The new Smoky Oaxacan Shrimp 🍤 Bowl 🍲 is one their best creations. How can you beat rice and beans, Shrimp, guacamole, tortilla strips, and chipotle sauce. Probably a lot of sodium so you may want to get it to go and save some for later.“

“I love this El Pollo Loco. I have been coming here for years but today felt compelled to write this review after a bad experience at the Costa Mesa location on Bristol. The service at this location is exceptional. They customize items for me and go above and beyond for customers. Their food is always delicious and the dining area is spacious and clean. They understand the rewards program and thankfully dont have kiosks! Thank you La Paz El Pollo Loco.“

“We just had lunch at the Hasienda on the Lake. The service was excellent. Food was very tasty and fresh. Especially, I would like to thank Gustavo Ortega. He made out visit very enjoyable and made as feel very special.“

“The food was good, but by the time we got home it was room temp. We only live like 5 minutes from the store and we went right home. I guess I could have warmed it up in the microwave, but I was feeling lazy that day. The fish was very dry in the taco. Might not get the fish again. The cheese enchilada was good, but probably would have been better if I heated up a little in the microwave. I probably won't order online next time. The employees were nice.“

“This is not a fancy establishment with booths and table service. They have very flavorful entrees and authentic options such as their breakfast tacos and burritos with nopales (cactus). If you want pretty pictures of your food for reels... this is not the place. If yiu want hearty, delicious and a great value for what you pay, go no further.“

“Robert gave beyond exceptional service on Alicia right next to the freeway here! Excellent customer service! My mom and my special needs brother were treated so horribly at the Aliso Viejo location. Many people that were trying to order there ended up just walking out. I am so happy we found this location and the service we received was outstanding! We will definitely will be back to this location because of Robert and the kind staff here. Food is expensive and if customer service lacks people can easily go somewhere else to spend their money. “Your coming here for the authentic Mexican food for much lower prices than anything around. Not fancy and location looks a little run down, but when your getting tasty carnitas and chicken street tacos for around $2 per, and a little salsa bar, it’s a win. They’ve got amazing happy hour deals from 3-6 every day as well. Quick service and friendly environment with Mexican music subtly playing while you eat. Good experience for lunch!“
