“I'm super happy that this restaurant has lived up to my expectations so far. I feel as though there are only a small amount of cons I have for this place. We have received their chips and salsa, and it is one of the best salsas I've ever had because it reminded me of Chevys' salsa but slightly sweeter. For those of you who know what place I'm talking about, it is the Chevys that used to be in Anaheim on Santa Ana Canyon Road before the restaurant El Cholo took over. Anyway, the meal I ordered was the Carnitas platter, and I liked it. As for my boyfriend he got the Green Sauce Enchilada and he thought it was okay so I decided to try it and I didn't like it at all. The reason why the enchilada didn't taste appealing to me is because it had cumin seasoning in it. I think if they removed the seasoning, the enchiladas would taste a lot better, in my opinion. Also, I almost forgot that I also had their matcha latte, which was good.The matcha latte was good because they let me make it slightly sweeter that way the matcha wouldn't be too bitter and it wasn't which I liked. 🍵For dessert, my boyfriend and I ordered the flan, and it tasted really good. I was also happy that my boyfriend enjoyed it, so we would definitely order that again. Last but not least, the customer service was great, and I'm glad there are still some people who try hard to give the best customer service. So my boyfriend and I will definitely come back for the chips and salsa and the flan.Also, a warning for people just trying this place for the first time: I recommend that you bring a smaller party since this place isn't too big. 😊“

“The best tacos I've ever had. Lots of fresh meat and they weren't dry like the kind at a more popular restaurant. The best deals are on Tuesday. We will definitely be going back for more. This place is great and I want to try their other items.“

“Came for lunch with my gran about a month after my grandfather passed. It was my gran's first outing since the funeral and i was worried but our server was this adorable silver haired woman named Rebecca. She had my Gran laughing the whole time. We ordered combos and the suggested jalapeño watermelon margaritas, which were spicy and refreshing. We needed a nap afterwards because we were too stuffed! My gran won't stop asking when we can go back. Thank you South of Nicks for lovely meal, and Thank you Rebecca, for helping a family member feel normal after tragedy. You are in our prayers“

“They catered our monthly event we call "Together" at Calvary Chapel Pacific Hills last night and all of their food was fabulous! I wish I had known about them for my upcoming Fiesta event in May at my mobile home park. Well I know who will be catering it next year: TB!!!😋🥰😃“

“I love this place!! Not only is the food amazing and the setting on the lake so picturesque, but I have a shellfish allergy that keeps me from eating at a lot of places. They are so incredibly accommodating and I feel so safe eating there. The bar tender, I believe his name is Herberto, has been my server the last couple times and he goes out of his way to explain their processes and knows exactly what is safe for me to eat. So knowledgeable and I’m so grateful. They even make me special chips that are fried in their own oil, which I told them was not necessary but oh so appreciated!! Plus, I got their Smokey Caesar Salad and it’s just a 10 out of 10. (So are their short rib enchiladas… but it was too hot to get that today!)“

“We had intended to go to a different restaurant this night and stumbled upon Carmelita’s and I’m so glad we did! This was my first time in and everything was super good. Taste was excellent, atmosphere was great, sat outside, but beyond everything the service was remarkable. We sat at Eddie’s table and he greeted us with such care and intention, we thought he was the owner of the restaurant. He was so kind, funny, personable, and had great recommendations on the food. He even made a drink special to my preferences and assured me that if I didn’t like it, he would replace. It was perfect, and didn’t need replacement but he was truly above and beyond. “I live in Irvine, CA but our two local Baja's have closed. We have a remaining one but the food, service and atmosphere is 1 star. They charge for chips, sauce and are begrudging with any product.
We drive to Mission Viejo to the Baja on Alicia Parkway and it is wonderful. The staff are warm and friendly and the service and food are great. Worth the drive.“

“Local and delicious. The staff are friendly, food is hot and fast. The place has refillable soda, free tortilla chips and wifi. This neighborhood favorite serves Great Park, Lake Forest and local business with delicious Mexican food. Jasmine was very patient with my numerous questions and helped me craft my perfect breakfast burrito. A Mexicano Burrito with Shredded Chicken and added avocado. I love places like these because it isn't somebody just heating up sysco food in the back. It's an actual cook and usually a family who can make food using the ingredients available to them. So as long as you're willing to pay and to talk, just about anything is possible.“

“Quick and fresh. Loved our burritos. Seems to be more of a take out place. There’s two tables out front, one of which we were able to snag to chow down before heading to our appointment in town. The cabbage in the burrito gives it that crunch and the salsa is so flavorful. The steak was delicious too! I added beans and no rice for maximum flavor!!!“

They often have eacabeche carrots and limes that you just have to ask for, but no extra charge. All of the employees are warm and inviting and very helpful. I LOVE PERLAS!!!!!!! “A wonderful evening at Todos Santos with my wife. We were greeted by Daniel the owner and chef extraordinare who took us to a very nice table in the outside patio. We started off with drinks which were made by one of our favorite bartenders Jaime! The other bartender of choice is Francisco who had the day off. Kenya was our waiter and was superb, very personable and professional. We each ordered the appetizer salad which were so good. We spoke with Daniel about the fresh fish and decided on the Sea Bass for my wife and I ordered the Salmon and lobster plate. These two dishes were amazing upon presentation and even tastier than they looked lol. I must say since we began dining at Todos Santos from when Daniel took over this place has blossomed this restaurant into the best Mexican cuisine in Orange County. With multiple awards to his credit Daniel has new menu items that he creates regularly and now opens after hours on Tuesdays and Fridays with a DJ and dance floor. On Saturday and Sunday the restaurant serves breakfast from 10 am to 2 pm and the dishes are delicious. Make a reservation and ask for Daniel. Let him know George sent you. “If I could give 10 stars they would get it! I rarely go online to write a review, and if I do it’s because I had a horrible experience. I wrote a positive review maybe twice in my life here’s my third. Start with the cashier, I really can’t say I ever had anyone serve me with a better attitude than the guy who helped me and I say right by the register and he kept that amazing attitude with all customers. At first I had 3 chicken tacos from the taco Tuesday deal (which I might say isn’t cheap, but quality costs) which were surprisingly good because I don’t love shredded chicken. The chicken was so good I decided to get an asada one as well just to make sure they really are as good as it seems. They crushed it, asada taco came to over 7$ after taxes and it glad to say I’ll be happy to pay that price anytime anywhere to get that same taco!“

“Awesome food!! Been visiting (I’m from Chicago) since my daughters family moved to CA and discovered in 2008. I love the Mama Avila soup, very hearty and so delicious. There’s nothing that I’ve tried that I didn’t like. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!!“
