“It is a cozy place and has several food options, the cashier who served us spoke Spanish and was friendly. I loved the wire tacos, very good flavor. I ordered carnitas and a cake and everything was very delicious!Parking: Very good location, open parking in a small square and free.“
“Taco Tuesday delivered.Got like 6 tacos and 4 taquitos for under $20. Each one was $1.75.The onions, cilantro, carnitas, pastor, and chicken all tasted perfect. Service was good too.Only thing this place needs is updates to the interior, maybe some fresh paint and some new decor and it’d really shine. But I came for cheap yummy tacos for taco Tuesday and they delivered.“
“Excellent atmosphere, from the moment you arrive you feel the warmth of a working family, they serve you very well, they are always making sure you are well, the food is very delicious and good presentation and portions, the chilaquiles I ordered were delicious, the breads they have They are very good, the decoration is very original and relaxing! Overall a very good experience, looking forward to returning again. Alex and Martin thank you very much...“
“Shrimp tacos were our favorite. Also, we really like the Beria and the fried fish We also loved the nachos and even better was the drink of the day which was pineapple Fresca so, so good. Service was very good. I think our server was Alicia, but I could have the name wrong. She was a young girl, and she was very wonderful and she had her hair in a bun. The only thing that could possibly improve is having may be a little less spicy salsa or pico for the people who don’t like too much spice. Wonderful seafood, can’t wait to try more dishes.“
“The food is very yummy! We got the birria & shrimp tacos which have great flavor and broth in the meat.Would love to try the birria ramen & pretty much everything on their menu, it all looked so good. I also enjoyed that they seem to just specialize in the main staples you’d like to see at a Mexican restaurant and their menu wasn’t too expansive.Great atmosphere and service too!“
“My wife's top 5 place. Love their food. She had the mini taco combo...epic!!! I had the ribeye with cheese enchilada. Ribeye needed a tad more seasoning but was great overrall. And that enchilada with the green sauce was amazing. We will be back soon!“
“Overall experience was great- our waiter was not overly attentive once he found out we would not be drinking and felt frustrated that we were not ready to order immediately once our final party member arrived. The food was really good and it was a bit noisy initially but quieted a bit as dinner went on.“
“Great food! Super nice staff and very accommodating! We have a large and intimidating service dog, and they turned on heaters and gave us a private area on the patio! Staff made sure our entire party K9 included were enjoying themselves! Try the octopus taco!!!“
“OC Local is a big, clean, beautiful place to have fun and relax. Families, couples, singles, groups, and dogs are all welcome here. They have something for everyone!Troy and Patrick run the place, and they are wonderful people. Even when they're busy, they take the time to greet everyone personally.Good food and great drinks. The tacos and nachos are my go-to choices for food. They have so many beers on tap that is hard to pick a favorite.“
“Stopped in on a rainy day while checking out some antique stores in the area. It wasn’t too busy and we were seated very quickly. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Ordered the steak, chicken, and shrimp fajitas, as well as the Carnitas with flour tortillas. Fajitas came out hot and sizzling as expected, and the steak and chicken were very good but the shrimp, despite being big and well prepared, was a little lacking in flavor. The Carnitas was a tad tough on the outside, but still pulled apart fairly easily, and was good with the rice, beans, and guacamole provided. Ample flour tortillas were given and they were soft and delicious. The toreados ordered on the side were fantastic and so were the accompanying onions. The atmosphere is old world vibes, and although there was a lot of seating, we never felt like we were right on top of the other patrons.“
“Very pricey Mexican food, but worth every penny. A party of 4: after delicious chips, black bean dip, guacamole n salsa, one had a combo plate with custom selections, another had short rib enchiladas, and two of us had Chile Verde. Everyone loved the meal. Probably as good or better Chile Verde as I've ever eaten n we have spent a lot of time in Mexico for our entire adult lives. A quality experience all around.Kid-friendliness: Our 5th wheel was a 10 yr old who liked the rice and his carne asada taco very much. Wait staff catered to him n made him feel special.“
“Got the 3 pack for $13 - tried the potato, chicken, and beef. Honestly, more than I expected. Great flavor throughout, from the topping to the meat inside and held up well when taking it to go. Would definitely suggest if you want something quick and unique for Spectrum.“
“Such a pleasant surprise! Sometimes fast food Mexican is not so Bueno! The chips were light, crisp and so fresh. The guacamole was seasoned to perfection. My husband loved the beans. We came on Taco Tuesday based on someone's recommendation and it totally satisfied!“
“Been enjoying ordering from here quite a bit lately. Have been really happy with the quality of the food as well as the packaging for delivery/takeout. I am curious if the change to the tortilla chips is a permanent one, as the last two orders they have been quite different. I prefer the former! But love the salsa. Can’t wait to visit in person soon.“
“Wonderful late afternoon family meal, memorable salmon sald, porkbelly bites, chicken fajitas, sugar cane filet and chicken tenders for the kids. Definitely pricey, but the quality of food and excellent service were well worth memories of that afternoon.“
“Go to Franco's for happy hour. You'll get a decent margarita for $7 dollars and some tasty apps.m at decent prices. I am a sucker for a delicious large dinner plate. I always get the Tampiqueña. It takes me forever to finish my dinner but I enjoy every bite. The service is always prompt and friendly. It can get loud later on in the day which is why I enjoy going in before 5pm.“
“This turned out to be a great find. Everyone loved their food. It is clearly made with care and the recipes are delicious. Good portions at reasonable prices. They have a good size patio area as well as plenty of indoor space. We loved the fun repurposed seating like church pews and theater seats.Special shout out to a seriously spicy bloody Mary.My wife only at half her breakfast burrito as it was quite large. She loved the roasted green salsa.Myself and others enjoyed their take on shrimp and grits. Such a great combination of flavors. Not that many people there for Sunday brunch time which was surprising as so many people wait in line for brunch at other places not nearly as good.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, just curb at sidewalk“
“Sat at the bar and ate on Monday and it was so good I cancelled my Tuesday planned reservation and went back on Wednesday with my friend. Quality ans flavour of food is excellent . I sincerely hope this restaurant is a long time venue in Laguna Beach“
“This is the best burger in Orange County! The people working here are genuinely kind and helpful. The location isn't great but they should not deter you from trying this gem out!I suggest the Hole in the Wall Burger and the Carne Asada Fries.“
“I was back at Angelo's Burgers for a breakfast sandwich. I got the steak, egg and cheese. Next time I will omit the lettuce and tomato but I like to try something new the way it is presented. It was a New York streak, not sliced meat. It was pretty good. The staff is helpful, patient and friendly. It's an order at the counter and have a seat kinda place. I got mine to go“
“Found this great restaurant when I was picking up a pizza I order and decided to give it a try. I was so happy to have found an official Birria restaurant so close to my home. I normally would have to go to Santa Ana or L.A. just to get a good delicious birria dish. Now I am so happy I gave this restaurant a try birria is delicious and authentic and the customer service is good. The restaurant is small simple not much of a dine in place or have the ambience for staying to dine in but gave this place a 5 star still because the birria is just so delicious and authentic.“
“Best tacos, laid-back atmosphere and consistent service! Our favourite is the Al Pastor Volcan - Marinated shaved pork with pineapple and spices served over a crispy corn taco. Incredibly addicting and as visitors from Canada, this will be something we will miss a ton!“
“The food was very good and healthy. I had the two piece chicken (actually cooked on a flame grill) lunch with 4 tortillas, lettuce/salad, beans, and a smooth guac (which I really liked). Tomatillo salsa was very good. Nothing was loaded with salt which is a big deal to me. We’ll be coming back.“
“We had no idea we were sitting on a gold mine. We had eaten near by a number of times and never thought to try it - another neighborhood Mexican restaurant. Friendly neighbors mentioned it, they got a big thank you. My chicken mole was so beautifully presented, unlike any I've had before and the taste was equal to its looks. My wife's order of enchiladas suizas de Pollo was incredible but she only gave me one, despite my begging. We were there for brunch but neglected to try the mimosas, a mistake we won't make again. Fellow diners near us did have them and we became very jealous. Our waiter was very attentive and flawless. As we left I wanted to tell the manager how good he was but gave up too soon. Bottom line - we're going back!“
“Fun place. Portions are great. Usually enough to take home. Guacamole the best! Highly recommend! Just note the atmosphere is a bit loud so if you're looking for something intimate you may want to visit another time.Vegetarian options: You can order items without meat.Parking: Busy plaza. Hard to find parking.“
“Parking is valet only, which we were ok with as parking in this area is rather difficult to find. Cost to valet is only $4 plus tip, was worthwhile.Chips were warm and fresh tasting but the salsa was more like a pico than a salsa. I am good with chunky salsa, but the other members of my dining party weren't fans. I ordered a steak burrito and it was good, but not the best steak burrito I have had. It is served enchilada style, which I am a big fan of.Service here was great, we were seated right away and drinks came quickly as did the food. The atmosphere here is a bit different. While it has great ocean views and a fireplace in the back of the restaurant where we sat, there was a bit of clutter on a few of the tables just past the bar to the right when we came in, which I found a bit out of place and was taken back a bit by. I stayed as this place was recommended by a local to the area. I would probably visit again if I were in the area again, but would be interested in trying something different on the menu.“
“Fabulous food. We did door dash for the menudo and it was so good. That evening I went in for a quick margarita and chimichanga! SO GOOD! Mario was my server at the bar! He was quick, pleasant, and made a perfect strawberry margarita! Highly recommended ?Parking: I was able to parknright in front of the entrance and the time I arrived was at 8 pm“
“Hands-down the absolute BEST Mexican food I have ever eaten!! We had the short ribs enchilada, the chicken nachos and a chimichanga. Cooked to perfection--even the chips are to live for!! We ate outside and watched the sunset while I sipped on a Corona Lite with lime. Service was superb. We will definitely return soon!“
“I go to the country 2 step dances lessons with Debra on Mondays and I love it!!! Debra is an amazing instructor. Christine is an excellent bartender. Its happy hour all-day Monday. I enjoy it so much that I make the drive from North County San Diego! The steak dinner for $25 is a great value. I'm so glad a friend told me about this place!“
“Quaint Mexican beach restaurant. Loved the fact that it was so close to the beach/you can see it from their outdoor dining area, which is where I sat.My service from start to finish was great. I ordered the 2 tacos with soup for $20ish. Tacos were on point and full of flavor(I ordered my tacos, 2 yr old style with only meat & cheese). The soup could've had a deeper flavor to the broth but still very delicious!Located on a very popular street in Laguna. Would recommend if you're in the mood for a laid back restaurant with classic Mexican food dishes.OHHH & THEIR SALSA = SOO GOOD!Parking - is on the street“
“We definitely recommend, love the atmosphere. Beans are amazing, taste super fresh and homemade. Rice is amazing too- these are big for me as I can't stand canned beans and lack of authenticity with Mexican food restaurants, especially the nice ones like this place. Good for them and good for us, they passed the test! They give complimentary salsa and refried pinto beans with chips- delicious. Food was very good overall. However, the chile rellenos too hot for most of us and are not fried in egg batter as many traditionally make (our family). Im sure they would accommadate any spice or food adjustments to make you happy. Surprisingly the carnitas & cheese chile rellenos good but spicy, and I had to waste some of of it as it was so hot and a few seeds at the end. (Just tell them you want mild, as they don't give an option when ordering). Some had drinks, very expensive, $15 for a short glassed margarita, but they liked it. They were very busy, service was great, but would like to being checked on more often despite their busyness if we need more drinks, refills, chips and salsa etc. Servers were still great! Wonderful atmosphere, candles, and a litttle flower, in dimly lit dining areas. A few other families there also.“
“Great food! We ordered two combo plates: chorizo+eggs and carnitas. Food came out piping hot, and the tortillas were hot and fresh, too. I really liked the flavor of the beans. Jarritos sodas were a nice touch too.Cool atmosphere too, with a miniature bar and TV showing sports right at the entry. I'd definitely come back here.“
“This is gem quickly has become my ‘Go To’ spot for margaritas and sports viewing. The drinks are fantastic and the service is exceptional! You can not beat the weekend buffet and made to order food items. They have a great happy hour and an amazing taco Tuesday! Please see for yourself! I promise you will not be disappointed!Parking: Parking is available in abundance“
“Great taco spot! The OG taco is probably the best taco I've ever had. I won't even make steak tacos at home anymore because it doesn't make sense to, and I make crazy good steak tacos. Their's are just so much better. Tuesday is basically half off for basically the same daily taco. Maybe on Tuesday they are slightly lighter, or perhaps it's just so many that need to be made so quickly that they just seem like it. This is typical for any taco place on a Tuesday, but most other places are noticeably more meager and not the same quality on their TT's. Tuesdays at Sanchos are definitely the same quality taste and are quite a bargain, even if they perhaps are slightly lighter. Chubbie sauce is insane and they sell bottles of it.“
“Wholesome bowl is my go to. Delicious! I would come more often if the portions were a bit bigger, the yogurt is good but really expensive. I was pleased to see a different flavor up today " Irish mint" but that flavor was out or not working. Hopefully they will keep this one. One last thing, the tables outside are often kinda dirty, they should be a bit more on top of the cleaning here after people leave. But I'm glad AC is here in town!“
“Definitely authentic food. Service was fantastic. Friendly staff. Only disappointment are refills on soda are charged at a dollar each. When it costs less than 2 cents to fill up a soda and I spend almost $45 for my family's food, I think one refill should be free.“
“Delicious Family-owned spot with recipes that have been passed down. Food always hits the spot, and the staff is so friendly. The waiters are truly the best. Uri and Porfi in particular, are such sweethearts. Thank you to this place, and those that maintain it! We love flamingos!!!!Vegetarian options: Best Vegan option: Potato tacos with no cheese! Side of refried beans with no cheese. French fries are crinkle- cut deliciousness.Best veg option: cheese enchiladas, veggie burritoBest pesc. Option: shrimp enchiladas or shrimp cocktail“
“I’ve eaten here many times over the years and it’s consistently good. On this recent time, I ordered a variety of 20 tacos online (to-go) and they were ready in less than half an hour which is very impressive since the ingredients are so fresh. They included plenty of salsas and everything about my order was correct. I took the tacos to the beach for a picnic with friends and they were a hit.“
“Olamendi’s in Mission Viejo is one of the best authentic mexican restaurants iv been to. You can really taste the high quality food and comes with an adequate portion. The staff is very friendly and food is cooked quickly so no long wait time. Highly recommend!“
“Everything is amazing A-Z from staff to food to service! Food is delicious and most importantly dessert can’t forget that. I am a huge fan of their taco with choice of meat and horchata, flan , churros. Best Mexican authentic restaurant in town WAY TO GO!!! if you wanna try you will say many thanks to “
“Nice spot in Rancho Mission Viejo. We stopped in to Morena's for an early dinner. Carlos B. and Carlos R. helped us out and were both fantastic servers with excellent customer service and people skills. We started with drinks and guacamole, which were great. The Don Julio Blanco with club soda and three limes muddled were mixed to perfection. My wife ordered the chicken enchiladas verdes with rice and beans and loved the dish. The chicken was well cooked and the food tasty. I had the asada asada platter, which was good but more like a NY steak but still tasty with rice, beans, and a cheese enchilada. The chips, salsa, and tortillas were also fresh and tasty. The ambiance was positive, and the establishment appeared to be popular amongst the locals. We also found out that Morena's is also in Lake Forest, where Mimi's Cafe used to be. Highly recommended.“
“This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in this area. It's fast, consistent, and great portions. I have been coming to the Lake Forest location since 2006 and haven't had a single bad experience. I mostly order the Carne Enchiladas combo and a side of guacamole. My #2 choice is the chicken platter. Comes with tortillas and a big portion of chicken. You can make little tacos with it and mix the remainder together. If you get the fish options, it's better when it's blackened.“
“I don't know what was the best, the service, the taste of the food or the prices. This place has everything, starting with first-class service, the cashier helped us and recommended us the best dishes, the atmosphere of the place is excellent, music, decoration, etc. The food tastes 100% homemade. The taco de alambre and their horchata are a must, you won't regret it! The hygiene definitely sets them apart. There is good parking availability. It was our first time here, we will definitely return. Totally recommend this place!“
“Delicious food, fresh ingredients and options for allergiesIf gluten free (gf) the corn tortillas and tortilla chips are not safe due to cross contamination. The burrito bowl is safe and is delicious. The staff takes allergies seriously and cares about their customers. The restaurant is conveniently located across from public lot 5 and has street parking.Dietary restrictions: If gluten free (gf) the corn tortillas and tortilla chips are not safe due to cross contamination. “I drive 9 miles to come here for lunch or supper. Really good Chili Rellenos, handmade on premises. Great fish tacos. Actually everything is handmade on premises. I don't think anything is pre-frozen. Great wait staff and the kitchen, which you can see from the dining area, is immaculate.Give it a try. I'm pretty sure it won't disappoint“
“So so good! We needed a good Mexican restaurant. Margaritas address delicious and everything I’ve tried has been superb! Chicken nachos, steak tacos, beef flautas, little casita salad. All so good. It has a cool ambiance too! Glad they’re in Dana Point now!“
“This place is AMAZING! Everything on the menu was gluten free, farm fresh, and imaginative. Definitely try a grasshopper when you're there! (and I don't mean the drink.) The staff was super friendly and unpretentious: I felt like I was back in the Midwest. Will definitely be returning for special occasions (because I can't resist dropping all that coin).“
“I ordered a spicy shrimp salad which I got quickly and was an ample size. there were plenty of shrimp and the salad dressing was tasty but I was disappointed in the minimal amount of vegetables. There were chips and salsa included, and I'm not sure if I paid extra for them but I enjoyed eating them as a snack later on. The salsa tasted handmade.“

“thought I'd have some tacos while I wait for the rain to pass. They were nice enough to let me Put my e-bike under the tent outside as I enjoyed their great food for a great price With wonderful service. Highly recommend bringing the family here.“
