“The salsa bar is unmatched. Our food was very fresh and served to us. My taco was stuffed with so many flavors that the one with chips and salsa was enough for me. My husband enjoyed his Blackened Citrus shrimp bowl with mango salsa (no longer available at Rubio's). This is our new favorite place for fresh, fast Mexican food. “The food was hot and freshly prepared, the service was friendly and attentive. They offer a daily special - burrito with a choice of chicken or shredded beef, served with a side of rice, beans, and chips. I did question the extra rice and beans, assuming they were included both inside the burrito and on the side. I wasn’t expecting it to be so veggie-filled (grilled onions, peppers etc) , which actually turned out to be a nice surprise. The burrito itself was on the smaller side and packed more vegetables than protein, but the flavors were still good. The salsa bar was incredible, offering a variety of flavors, although they were a bit mild, probably to cater to the local community’s taste. Overall, a solid spot worth returning to, especially to try the tacos next time!“

“I recently went to Baja Fresh in San Clemente after skipping it as a choice for about a year. I was impressed with the quality and flavor of the food - definitely an improvement from past experiences. I ordered the grilled fish taco combo plate and it wound up being enough food for dinner plus lunch the next day. The food was fresh and tasty. I’ll be going back soon!“

“This Del Taco has done a lot to turn itself around. After years of terrible service, I tried them after they completed a remodel and was surprised as how much better the store has become. The staff are friendly and have great customer service. And its so convenient to grab a bite on the way to Doheny which is a very short walk from the restaurant.“

“To be fair, I don’t love Del Taco’s food, nor any fast food really. Because of its location, I usually go several times per week before class. The food always tastes like it’s supposed to, the workers are always friendly, my order is always correct, and I never have to wait. The crew is solid, and hopefully management values them, because I definitely do.“
