“This was such a lovely place. The atmosphere was nice with the low lighting, quiet background music, and beautiful art work around. It fits well for a romantic dinner occasion or upscale dinner with friends. The waitress was very attentive, upbeat, nice, and helpful in choosing food options. We ordered the prime steak mushroom pasta as well as the bolognese pasta. Both were exceptionally good! They allowed me to sample different wines until I liked one which was very considerate. The chef went above and beyond! I loved our experience here, I hope to be back soon!“

“I always have quick and friendly service at this location and the others I've been to. Friendly like they are happy to work there. The menu choice has enough variety and uniqueness that it's fun for me to eat there. And between my partner and me, our meals have always been what we were looking for. My partner likes their grits and that gets us there. But the experience keeps me coming back.“

“My husband and I tried this place for the first time last Monday. It was great! We had the outside area near the outdoor fire to ourselves. The food and drinks were on fire LITERALLY. The portions were very big so I would say it’s worth the money. Two people could easily share an entree. The drink didn’t taste that good and they did forget to add shrimp to my pasta but besides that it was a very nice night. We would try this place again!“

This place is truly one of Modesto’s best-kept secrets (unfortunately) — and it deserves to be packed every night. We came here for my mom’s birthday dinner with a large group of 18–20 people, and from start to finish, everything was flawless. We ordered a variety of appetizers — the cheese board, Brussels sprouts, lamb meatballs, and almond-crusted chicken skewers — and every single dish was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. Even with a group our size, all the food came out at the same time, hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The kids were served first (huge win for the parents!), and the service throughout the night was nothing short of exceptional. In a time when good service is rare, Burly’s truly goes above and beyond. Every single person at the table was impressed — most had never been there before, and every one of them said they’d be back. And while that birthday dinner was amazing, it wasn’t a one-off. Before moving out of the area, I’d eat lunch at Burly’s about once a week. The food was consistently top notch, never hit-or-miss like so many other places. “I was there on Mothers day and the brunch was wonderful as was the staff. I was there when Austin spray was there and the group and themselves were the only problem. No one else in the restaurant has had the same problem. Guest received exactly what was advertised and it was delicious! It is fathers day today and I am going back for the brunch! Me and my daughter and I were lucky to step into the restaurant 5 minutes before those people.

Best Ribeye I've ever had at a restaurant! Our other friend had the shrimp pasta and said it was delicious..Atmosphere is more like hole in the wall diner with a big bar than upscale steak house, but we Loved it anyway and the cocktails were delicious too! “These guys were great. I have celiacs, a gluten allergy, and they baked my hot wings and french fries just so I could eat. I really appreciate that as it's really hard to find good food.That's gluten free. They went out of their way to do this for me. The food was excellent! “Chicken is good and it seems to be fresh all the time which is a huge plus. The staff is very friendly which is weird if we talk about chicken sold at a gas station lol

“I door dashed my food. All three items were outstanding. The chicken that comes with the garlic noodles was perfectly cook and seasoned perfectly. You guys killed with the Pot stickers. They had chunks of chicken! Not over processed and light and cooked for the perfect chew. The dipping couldn't be any more perfect and just the right heat.
