“Tresetti’s has always been my go to spot in downtown Modesto for years! Love the food and atmosphere.“

“My husband and I tried this place for the first time last Monday. It was great! We had the outside area near the outdoor fire to ourselves. The food and drinks were on fire LITERALLY. The portions were very big so I would say it’s worth the money. Two people could easily share an entree. The drink didn’t taste that good and they did forget to add shrimp to my pasta but besides that it was a very nice night. We would try this place again!“

“I came in with my 82 year old dad who was having a sugar crash. and the waitress was so sweet and got us some o.j, very quickly, and brought him a biscuit. The French dips we ordered were wonderful!“

“Dewz is a great place to have dinner while in Modesto. You would think there were not a lot of great places to dine in such a small town, but there is, and this is one.

We got there a tad early and had no wait at all. The place is very pretty and it is kept in great shape. Even the bathrooms are nice. They have a full bar and a small wine list, which is nice. Make a reservation for weekends.

The service is here is great. You are seated and someone is right with you. They check on you, but you are never rushed, and your food comes as ordered and hot.

We love all their items. I love their simple salad, it is just a great way to start dinner. Their starter calamari is great with spicy marinara aioli lemon wedges. We also love their pork belly with Korean BBQ steamed bun cucumber jalapeno cilantro daikon-carrots, it is just great. I hate having to pay for bread and their bread is $12.00, to thank I say no thank you. Also, baked brie is also great, but very filling. It has strawberry preserve pickled strawberries pistachio walnut thyme blackberry and balsamic toasted focaccia bread--now I have bread.

We love all their steaks, but especially their Prime tomahawk, pan roasted and served with seasonal vegetables, all sauces and your choice of starch. It is huge. The price depends on the size and what the market price is, You will love it. Get it rare.

The prices are up there, but reasonable considering what all you get and the wonderful service.

“Order the nachos. Wow, talk about a HUGE portion. Yeah, even though I ate some until I was feeling full, I still had so much leftover. That when I asked for a to go box, it was so full I could barely get the box closed. U can order it with either chili Verde or chili beans served topped with guacamole & sour cream & pico gallo & a roastedjalapeño & plenty of grated cheese melted all over it. I asked the waitress if I could order it with half of the Chili Verde & half with the chili beans. She said, "Sure, no problem." They were so delicious. I would definitely order them again. U sure are getting so much more than what U pay when U oder the nachos.“

He was the complete opposite—warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. Justin went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, checked in regularly without being intrusive, and handled everything with a level of professionalism that truly salvaged the evening.“

“We pulled into the Rivets American Grill because Abalone Pete has a hankerin for one of the gals there. It's been some time since he's been there, and he says she wasn't there but I think he lied to me because he didn't want me to see her. We had about an hour and a half still to drive before we got to the cotton fields so we filled up with some pretty Awesome food! “Originally went in for the salad bar, when I asked our server what proteins were available she said eggs only. She acted like my questions bothered her. I was hoping to see if I could buy a piece of chicken to go with my salad. I ended up getting Cobb salad and ate half.“

We’ve had Kyle as our server at lunch and he’s always happy, welcoming, and an excellent server. Highly recommend you try Mike’s Grillhouse for lunch or dinner. They have a great variety of choices in their menu. You won’t be disappointed. Their portions are plentiful enough to be able to split a meal if you don’t have a big appetite. They have a Beer & Wine only license, I believe. The Wine Margaritas are very good. Try them— in shopping area east of Costco— You won’t be disappointed.“

“I enjoyed this place for Monday night NFL game. Smithwicks beer was really exceptional for a well rounded beer. It has a leading full flavor with very slight hoppy finish. Nothing at all like IPA hops just enough to know it’s a beer. Fish and chips were ok. I don’t like the heavy batter. They are big pieces but 50-60% batter. It is cod so I liked it after leaving behind a lot of fried batter. It does have good flavor so I did leave some batter on it. Still there was a lot left over. Service was great.

“Had dinner here last night for the first time! Service was great, food was wonderful! Two of us had the ribeye and they were both big, beautiful, juicy and perfectly cooked steaks! Best Ribeye I've ever had at a restaurant! Our other friend had the shrimp pasta and said it was delicious..Atmosphere is more like hole in the wall diner with a big bar than upscale steak house, but we Loved it anyway and the cocktails were delicious too! “I was there on Mothers day and the brunch was wonderful as was the staff. I was there when Austin spray was there and the group and themselves were the only problem. No one else in the restaurant has had the same problem. Guest received exactly what was advertised and it was delicious! It is fathers day today and I am going back for the brunch! I'm looking forward to the delicious food and seeing the friendly staff. Keep up the great service all! I recommend Georges steakhouse to all and Austin... stay home.“

“This place Rocks! Just look at the reviews, even the people that want to complain, cant really complain because their server got their back. Its just a damn happy place. You do literally squeeze in and its always a bit noisy. The sounds of amazing people enjoying life. Just dont do as I did and drink mimosas before breakfast or you will break very fast. My sister tripped over the same stone. What im trying to say is that a couple mimosas got this liquor drinker drunk, soaked, like a donut left too long in a cup of milk to where it disintegrates.“
