We just finished eating a great dinner at Johnny Carino's Modesto, Ca. Everything was perfect. All 4 of us had different salads, and all were great. The bread was crunchy on the outside, soft in the middle, and the dipping olive oil with fried garlic pieces was delicious. We all had different entrees, ribeye steak, ribs, shrimp scampi, and all were delicious. We had Italian sodas that were refreshing. No room for dessert, this time. We will definitely be back. Not high end Italian dining. Food was moderately good, long wait ...not sure why based on the food or the service. This is a 1/2 step up from McDonald's . I went before Covid a few times it was much better . Not sure what happened to it.

Not sure why the low stars because we had an exceptional lunch! Everything was fresh and tasty. Love the spicy chicken and shrimp pasta and our server Melinda was fantastic and truly one of the best servers I've ever seen! Kids meals come with ice cream sundaes and even the kids Mac and cheese was some of the best Mac and cheese I've ever had!
