McDonald's in Modesto

“(A month ago) Husband - went through the drive-thru while doing Lyft and the cashier (Dominic) greeted me with a lazy excitement asking me what I would like. I couldn't help but laugh. I ordered a McDouble and a McChicken deal with a water, which he read back as a McDoubie and a McChickie. He then sang the McDonald's jingle in the same tone once I finished my order. He cheered me up that night, I was love'n it. Definitely give that kid a raise or promotion or something for going over and above.

I found out a month later that he was fired because some Karen complained that he made her feel uncomfortable about eating out. McDonald's lose. 🤷‍♂️“

“Locally owned McDonald's. Been here once and will definitely go back. Fries and coffee served freshly cooked and brewed. Burgers are hot too. They have a coke refill station that's clean and definitely vintage. Love that! The restroom is tidy too!

Parking: Has drive thru and parking spots too

Kid-friendliness: Great McDonald's for kids. Looks safe

“I was working a job nearby for a week and frequently came to McDonald's to eat and use the facilities. The employees were always very friendly. They didn't mind if we used the restrooms whether we were buying food or not. The food was delicious as always. The atmosphere was very comfortable.“

“Always use app & my food comes out hot!
So I recently went for breakfast and used the app as i always do. I didn't realize until I got home they did not put in any of the 4 hashbrowns that should have come with my order. They didn't give me the napkins or the condiments I ordered. I called to let them know and they said I would have to go back to get everything they missed. I explained that wasn't possible. Rather than offer to send a gift certificate for the value or take down my name And number so that when I go there the next time I just need to tell them I'm on a list which is what they used to do in the past. Unfortunately I was told that there was nothing they could do unless I wanted to come back that same day. It was pretty disappointing. What's even more disappointing is I am a very loyal customer. I go to McDonald's at least once a day EVERYDAY!“

“Super convenient McDonald’s on my way down I 99. There was lots of parking so I found somewhere in the back for my 21 foot RV, the restaurant was very clean, the service was quick and the food was good. Didn’t need a code for the bathroom, which I appreciated“

“There was a young lady working here today and she was so nice and cordial to the customers. I don't do fast food often so it's a treat to have breakfast at McDonald's. Anyway the young lady noticed that I hadn't completely finished my order after placing it on the kiosk. She came right up to me and helped me completely finish ordering and brought my food to my table. She kept the lobby clean, she washed her hands in between task. She was everything that a customer service worker should be without kissing a**. She was genuine and everybody in that lobby could feel the love. Moreover, there was an older couple sitting in the both behind me and they were very chatty and friendly. While still working, she and the couple had a quick conversation about life and the display of human kindness was refreshing to see and hear. The man was walking out the door still talking and laughing and it made me feel all cozy and warm emotionally so I had to share it with the world. Being a former McDonald's employee I know the training and the work that is expected and she was all that and more. 5 stars to this store.“

“Lots of high school students not sure Modesto high has open campus but a lot in the dining area. Food good but kind of took forever to get a large coffee. The screen that tells you your order up my order number disappeared after I got my food not coffee.“

“I had a very rough day 😔 and was craving a mcflurry. Saw a long line and yeah, it was Friday, after school hours, so I decided to just get off to order my ice cream instead of waiting in a long line so I did my thing. The girl at the counter was so nice and convinced me to get hot fudge in my mcflurry so I said why not and I asked for extra Oreo because I wanted to treat myself. I get two pies too. Anyways, I get my order and leave. When I open my mcflurry up, I almost fell on my knees in the parking lot, I have never seen a more perfect mcflurry, it’s like whoever made my mcflurry knew I was going through it. So thank you to whoever took the time to make this during rush hour. This McFlurry was worth the $4 + add ons of the extra Oreo and fudge. 🫶🏼 My day is going amazing now.“

“I'm very particular about my, due to medical issues. They were very kind and curtious about it as they have been every time I've asked for no salt on anything. It's great to trust people and enjoy a guilt free meal.

Dietary restrictions: If you have salt restrictions, just ask for no salt. They make a fresh batch to make sure theres no salt on your order of fries. You can ask for no salt on your burger, too.“

“I am easy to please at a place that believed in me as a young man..I am sure my mom had a lot to do with it...no drive thru..huh dane cook reference bk lounge...but the only white guy in an all Filipino kitchen staff..made pancakes on Sundays..but your place ..great spot..clean..can use it as a office when needed..thank you“

“I'm a Ukrainian van driver, and I've been in the U.S. for a few years now. Honestly, I usually avoid McDonald's because most locations I've visited serve food that's poorly made and doesn't taste good. But this location really surprised me — the burger I had here was actually delicious!

I drive a large Sprinter van, and during a few days without deliveries, I stayed in my van in the parking lot for a couple of nights. What made this place stand out is that they have free Wi-Fi, and unlike many other places — even gas stations — no one asked me to leave or gave me any trouble. Staff was respectful, and the atmosphere felt safe.

This is a surprisingly good spot — both for a quick meal and for drivers who need a decent place to rest for a bit. Thank you!“

“I only went through the drive thru here thus far, but the employees were polite and efficient, and even though there was a huge line, the wait was not very long. My food was excellent, and I actually got a generous serving of ice cream on my cone. I highly recommend coming here for breakfast if you are on your way to work and like ice cream early in the morning.“
