“After almost 2 years returned to the Leger for a date night with my wife. Now, the new owners and the Management and Chef are what this town has needed to revive this treasure of a hotel and restaurant. The chef is a culinary dreamer and achiever who seems to be on the path of culinary enlightenment at the Hotel. All courses were layered with a passion and love for food that the Leger has never seen before. I loved the old chefs but they were armature at best of home BBQ kings. Johnathan is a Chef that has the gift that 99% of chefs wish they had. I recommend setting a reservation for a private dinner for 2 and let them take the wheel to create an experience, not just some dinner. Last night was a full circle moment that could have gone horribly wrong, but, not one thing can be complained about nor changed. A perfect evening and there will be more to come.“

“Although I live in Turlock, I love love love Cavana‘s in Sutter Creek! This pub and grub has divine menus along with awesome presentations of food. I love the club sandwich and the garlic fries. “The course is in great shape. Today, but the pace of play was terrible (5 1/2 hours). The cause was one group about 4 groups ahead of us who just could not play. They let groups play through, but that didn't help us. We ended up following them from 16 on, and they took about 4 swings for one of ours. I wish a Marshall was on them and got them to play faster or pick up occasionally. Otherwise, I don't think they were overbooked, and the course and greens were in great shape.“

“Went for our first time today! The food was absolute heaven! We met Mama Mary who was just so wonderful as was all the staff that we encountered. I felt at home in this gem of a environment and the music was so relaxing. Fell head over heels for the bathroom design. Can't wait to go back. “This is the hidden gem of the San Andreas/ Jackson area. The food is delicious and the quality is great. One of my favorite places to get a sandwich. I love the outdoor area sitting under the big trees. My go to spot to stop when in the area, I even make the detour if it's not quite on the path to where I am going. “This place gets busy as shit for breakfast. I haven't been here in 5 years and it's still all the same people love that. I did have to request for my French toast sandwich to be taken back and remade. I said for the eggs to be sunny side up they was over hard. I requested turkey bacon, no ham, and if I can replace the ham with an egg. It did not have a 3rd egg for both sandwiches the mess up or the fixed. So I was mad about that but happy I got runny yokes. Please anticipate wait 40mins for your food the food is worth it though. Will eat here every visit 😋 🥰😁💯“

“This is our biweekly spot. Just about every time we go to town this is our favorite place. The ladies know us on the spot and are always so nice. Mom always orders the Turkey with extra cranberry. Dad likes to switch it up depending on the time we go. Never had anything bad.“

“on 8-4-2025 my wife and i had lunch at your restaurant,i had the mo burger. something just did't taste right, for one the burger was cooked hard as a rock and my wife told me to send it back but i did't. i woke up today sick,and the only thing i ate was the mo burger. i do not want anything i just feel the prep on the food is not being watched, a rock hard burger on a small bun is not what you have served in the past. we eat there several times a month. arnold l ares 209-297-1442“
