“Traditional Taiwanese dishes served in a banquet setting. That’s a first - I have only seen Taiwanese food served in casual restaurants and cafes.

Menu is expansive and every dish we ordered tasted authentic. Best stinky tofu I’ve had outside of Taiwan.“

“The Langham has a truly special location in the heart of the most beautiful portion of Pasadena so you cannot go wrong with having tea overlooking the grounds. The service was as anticipated and exceptional. One note is that they sat our party next to the harpist who was playing quite lovely Christmas music which would have been nice however it was so incredibly loud in my ear the entire time we had our tea, to the point our party had a very difficult time conversing. I think if they took out the center table next to the harpist it would bode well in the future. BEsides this one complaint I felt everything qwuite exceptional and as anticipated.“

“They have a great menu and friendly staff and they just upped the quality of their wine and a thicker cut of beef! ;)Since reopening after covid the staff is volunteers (except the bartender) and they only serve food on Fri and special events. Wednesday's are karaoke night and usually B.Y.O.F. Some Mondays are No Frills with a different crew manning the kitchen. ;)“

“Shaded parking to beat the heat! The parking signs have the logo of this establishment underneath the other business (an optical store) so don't hesitate to park around this simulator business. Friendly staff, comfortable interior, and gcquad! Great rates, up to 6 people. Would come back!“

“My friends and I decided to make this our first afternoon tea experience. This is a beautiful hotel. We loved everything about it. Easy to find the hotel and valet. I didn't see any signs to the Lobby Lounge (first time there), so I asked the concierge. They don't seat you until your whole party arrives. The menu is explained, which is great. They make the scones, sandwiches and deserts for everyone, so you share the experience of what you are eating. I wasn't a fan of the scones, but I was a fan of the lemon curd topping made available :). My favorite was the salmon sandwich. The deserts were cute, but not good, IMHO. I was disappointed with the price. I called beforehand asking about the price. Was told $100. This is correct, but they don't tell you about taxes, 20% service charge, then the tip. It's probably on the website, but that is why I call. I'd rather talk to someone. It turned out to be $160 pp (this included tip). They did tell me about valet being partially validated = $18, plus tip. So this afternoon tea is actually about $200 pp. I would definitely recommend trying this, just know going in how much it will cost. This is more of a one time experience for us :)“

“Moxie is a great place for family and friends to hang out. Outdoor seating is cool and comfy. Super yummy food by Japanese Chef. Staffs are super nice and helpful too. They sanitize before seating the customers. They even prepare small bottle of hand sanitizer on every table which customers can bring home. During COVID, they have continous deals such as AYCE before, and now $1 skewer. It's a 'must try' dining. A cool place to chill. Highly recommended.“

“Came here on a Wednesday and was lucky to be seated for drinks by the hostess. It was my second time here. And I always enjoy the drink and dark ambiance. Mixologist are super helpful. Definitely will be back to try food. Very small place, so reservations on weekends are probably best.“
