Reached out and promptly received a call from Carla she was great with giving all the information of everything that is included with booking with them, right off the bat I loved speaking with her she was super friendly even with just speaking over the phone and very nice and friendly when we met to confirm details. everyone in her staff was very friendly. Banquet hall is beautiful in itself, food was amazing we had so many people compliment on how good the food is(mind we we hadn't tried till day of event) we booked because of Carla

The quality of the nigiri was top-notch, and the presentation was spot on. I especially loved the seared fish topped with those thin, crispy red onion slivers. We also ordered the calamari and it was perfectly golden and crunchy.

“Food and service were both great! We went on a Thursday morning and had a really good experience. Honestly, I’m not sure why there are so many picky reviews—it seems like some people may not have much patience for a small business.

The portion sizes were generous, the seasoning was on point, and everything we ordered was delicious. We tried the steak and eggs as well as the croissant sandwiches, and both were great. The coffee options were also really good—not overly sweet or sugary, which I appreciated.

Overall, definitely worth the visit! I’d recommend giving this place a try and supporting a small business.”

“I have been to a lot of places with similar food as this location. I was taking my mom out to eat and it was our first time there. The lady who was the server was very friendly when I told her my mom was looking for wonton soup and she said that they did have some. It was delicious and very fresh. I got a plate with chow mein and 2 items of choice which were good in portion size. Hands down one of the best orange chicken I have had. I also had bbq pork which was also good. The thing that blew my mind from taste was there smoked porked ribs and their squash with green beans. The ribs were amazing almost like if they specialize in BBQ. Location was clean. I will definitely be returning.”

Side: Garlic Green Beans (these are the absolute most DELICIOUS green beans I have ever eaten)

Therefore, everyone was waiting in the entryway and unintentionally hovering over the tables closest to the entryway. I’m sure this was not the most favorable experience for the customers sitting at those tables. There was a “C” rating posted but I decided to eat here anyhow. Food was good and the waitress was very accommodating.”

“I first visited this place five years ago, and it was amazing—one of my favorite taco spots in L.A. I’d been wanting to try it again, and recently, while visiting SoCal, I had the chance to stop by. While it’s still pretty good, it doesn’t quite feel like it used to. The tacos are smaller now, as is the trend with most places in L.A. I’m not sure what happened, but I’m guessing one of the main tortilla distributors started making them smaller, promoting it as a selling point so that trucks don’t have to use as much meat and ingredients. What surprised me here, though, is that the tortillas are handmade and yet they started making them smaller. I still enjoy them—they really are the closest thing to a Tijuana-style taco. The flavor is excellent, and the guacamole is fantastic! All in all, it is still worth it to make the drive because where else can you get handmade tortillas and thick, gloppy guac? Here!”

“I love the Egg Rolls!! I've been looking everywhere for these egg rolls since I was a kid. There was a restaurant in Alhambra called Nams, it was my Grandma & Grandpa's favorite Chinese restaurant. My wife got the Mushroom Chicked delicious!”

“I have driven past this place for years skeptical of the seafood at a small stand, but boy was I proven wrong! So glad the location I was going to was closed because the nearest seafood was Mariscos el Zurdo. I saw they had 7 mares, so we said let's give it a try. Luckily we found parking in the small lot they share & found a table to eat because it sure got full & people waiting on a table.
I am kicking myself for having missed out on the delicious fish taco, shrimp hard shell taco, & agua chile tostada, all these years, but I will sure make up for it. The soup wasn't the best 7 mares i've had, but it was a big hearty bowl with crab legs that my soothed my mom's craving.
I am looking forward to head that way & stop to try other items along with that aguachile tostada 😋”

This morning was packed but with their fast friendly service the line went down quickly and with a smile. The owners always wish you luck if you buy a lotto ticket. “I’ve been eating at this location for many years. The food is absolutely delicious. The service is great. The booths are very comfortable. I have friends that have get-togethers at this restaurant because it’s so great in every plate is delicious. They have a big screen TV and the next room. It was great having a bowl of Menudo watching games. My favorite hair is the albondigas, huevos rancheros are good . A lot of Mexican restaurants in the neighborhood have closed down, but Baja has been going strong for many years. It’s well loved by our neighbors. I recommend this place 100%”

The service was amazing so welcoming so attentive. Their cafe de olla was perfect. I had their chilaquiles con huevo and bistec. It comes with beans and it had some lettuce I'm assuming side of salad but I mixed it all together and it was delicious! They do give you chips and salsa and let me tell you that salsa was deliciousssss!! The place isn't huge but it's perfect and cozy. They have plenty of other stuff on their menu | just decided to start with chilaquiles and they were delicious :)”

“It was my second time here at Pokitomik, and I can confirm that the business has improved since my last visit. The portions and prices are much more reasonable now, and the food tasted a lot better than it did last year.

I suggest getting Poki in the morning or afternoon, preferably before it gets too late. In my experience, the food tastes much fresher earlier in the day, and the overall quality seems better.

I do wish the customer service felt a little more welcoming and friendly, but overall, what matters most to me is food safety and delicious food, and this visit was definitely an improvement.”

Probably in the evenings or Saturdays. This is going to be my new place every Friday.”

“My family has been coming here for decades! Recently, I ordered a custom cake for my mother’s birthday, but I was very disappointed with the colors and overall result when I picked it up. I spoke with Nancy over the phone, and she was immediately understanding and supportive. I returned the cake that same day, but our event was early the next morning. The staff fixed the cake first thing in the morning and delivered it directly to our home, perfectly on time. I’m willing to pay higher prices because this kind of above-and-beyond service is special to small businesses like Amy’s.”

“I've been enjoying Happy Family for years. I'm always well taken care of. Plates i frequently have are shrimp rolls, soup dumplings, house fried rice, house chow mein, three delights, kung pao chicken, mongolian beef, honey walnut shrimp, egg flower soup and hot & sour soup. Sometimes i do have to ask for a waiter for a refill or more steamed rice but i'm used to it. The staff are great people omce you get to know them. They all deserve good tips especially with the affordable cost of their large portions.”

Every time I pass by this place I think the employees abandoned the store; this is the 1st time I've ever seen an employee while passing by, I'm surprised I even saw a 2nd person working here!!!Good self-serve frozen yogurt.The selection isn't as big as other locations but they might have favors you will like.My table was dirty this visit; I doubt there's THAT much to do, and I doubt there are enough customers to overwhelm the staff where they can't clean the customer area; I normally don't see this place busy enough to overwhelm 2 employees, or more if they're hiding in the back.”

“I usually go in the morning, so it's quiet, fast, and the ladies are always providing good service. The ham, egg, and cheese breakfast croissan'wich are delicious everyone I get one for love them almost as much as me 😅😅. Thus far no complaints from me. Keep it up morning crew because I've never seen it in the afternoon or evening 😅😅.”
