“Great spot for breakfast. An iconic local restaurant. One of the very few remaining restaurants in Eagle Rock that have been there for decades. Hasn't changed much in all those years. The staff is wonderful. Very warm and welcoming.“

“Delicious. The only place I've ever seen a pastrami breakfast burrito on the menu! Portions were huge, the staff were friendly, and although we took our food to go, the booths and bathroom were as clean as a whistle. There's a drive through! But also there seemed to be plenty of free parking in the back and sides of the building.“

She was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she ensured that our drinks were always topped up and our orders arrived promptly. What truly impressed me was Jessica’s dedication to ensuring our dining experience was perfect. She went above and beyond to accommodate our requests, making sure our food was prepared exactly as we wanted it. Her attention to detail and genuine concern for our satisfaction were evident throughout the meal. The management team at Denny’s South Gate deserves special recognition as well. “I actually ordered their chicken and waffle for breakfast and not thinking this can be that great (because I didn't choose this place but my mom did 😬). However, to my surprise, the Belgium waffle was huge and has a very good texture with a special dough. And Man, that chicken thigh is something else! I love that chicken was marinated first, then fired (or baked) so it's juicy and not dry at all! Not to even mention the Hispanic servers there can speak Chinese so that's why they can draw my mom back (and now me)! 🤣 👏 Bravo Nano Cafe 👏“

“I went to Xiaomei this morning to buy a takeout with three dishes and one soup, and then went to the nearby Great China Supermarket to buy some vegetables. I took out Xiaomei and retrieved my eight yuan and seventy cents, wrapped in Xiaomei. In my receipt, the lady at the Greater China counter refused to accept one of the $5 bills, saying it was a counterfeit bill. If it were normal, forget it, it would be a trivial matter. But then I thought again, I have been swallowing my anger all my life, and I am brave this time. I am not deceiving or intentionally blackmailing Xiaomei. As a result, the money was returned, but the words spoken to each other were not very kind. I went home and reflected on my words and deeds. I am a Buddhist, and I felt sad that I did not meet the standards required by gods and Buddhas. I am a new customer of Xiaomei. I was introduced by a friend. To be honest, Xiaomei’s food is indeed of high quality and low price. I should be more grateful. So I would like to apologize to Xiaomei!“

“I love this place. Parking is really convenient and easy. The restaurant itself has a lot of space and some TV's with interesting kid friendly content. The service is always friendly, warm and welcoming. The food is really good and normally you can find some pretty good deals. My real review of the place is that I keep coming back to it on a very regular basis. Tom's is great!“

“What a cute diner! Even has a drive thru. I found them via Door Dash pick up option. Glad I came. I also really like that there's booths, will be back to sit in. Generous portions; compatible for price points. I got the yummy signature omlette and was happy to see they had a gravy option in which I asked for on the side with a biscuit. The gravy was not spicy which I appreciate. Definitely fuel food to get my day started right; though I might take a nap first 😅✅️“

“The Thursday - Sunday late evening/overnight staff is amazing! I've been coming here pretty much weekly since July 2021 and they have become like family, especially our regular server Lupe. The night manager is cool and when he gets on the stove his food is out of this world! They got a new cook a few months ago and they are great with consistently producing comfort, especially the fries (and I'm VERY picky about my fry consistency).“

“Erica was a wonderful server. My mom ordered a skillet for the veggies but it looked lackluster without the meat. Erica was sweet enough to bring over a plate of extra veggies for her without us asking. My mom’s recovering from a hard fall and needs all the fuel she can get - I appreciated the thoughtfulness so much. Thank you again Erica!!“
