“We ordered 4 Taiyakis for only $12. Then the owner was so sweet! She offered a 5th one for free. Got our fresh Taiyakis after pager rang quickly! All flavors were great: Red bean, apple, custard cream, mango, and chocolate filling within freshly baked crunchy shells. We almost wanted to order another round if we were not on the way of leaving Little Tokyo Market. Must try again next time!

Kid-friendliness: The fresh fish shaped Taiyaki tastes much better than the frozen one kids usually get in stores.“

“I love this spot, the owner is such a nice and cool guy. The food speaks for itself. I understand that flautas are made at home and are a stable but don’t bash on them until you have tried them. My favorite flautas are the chorizo con papa which is a home made pork sausage with potato. All the sauces compliment the flautas. The flautas are pretty long so come hungry :)I caught them outside of the Gold Room in echo Park.“

“I saw a Groupon for Lobos Truck the other day and I had to buy it. It was $13 for 2 entrees and 2 drinks! What a steal! They stop by in front of my work building every now and then so it was pretty convenient for me to check them out.The Chinook: 1/3 lb. American-Kobe beef burger with garlic aioli, cheddar, lettuce, and tomato on a fresh Brioche bun. The burger was nothing special - just average. It was cooked medium rare as requested and it was well seasoned.OG Wachos: With everything. What are Wachos you ask? Waffle Fries + Nacho Toppings = Wachos. Came with Avocado, Cheese, Onions, and much more. It was amazing. The waffle fries were crisp and flavorful and it went well with all the toppings. I wish there was some heat to it though!“

I’ve ate at some of the best taco places known in California and this place took the win. Their Al pastor is the BEST I’ve ever had. PACKED with flavor! We just left this place past 9pm and everything was fresh and piping hot. I ordered El Guarache with Al Pastor and we got some other tacos to try. All so good! Reminded me of being back at grandmas house in Mexico. I didn’t even have to ask for salsa. “The food was great!! Their ceviche is cooked with lemon, so it is tasty. Their empanadas are the size of a regular tortilla folded in half, so they are not small. Their large fish tacos are twice the size a regular taco - beware!!! Our order was to go and it was a pleasant surprise to see we weren't missing anything. Their salsas are very good too.

“They specialize in Gorditas and they definitely make a quality Gordita. Super flavorful, the salsa reminds me of the one my mom makes. They have tons of options too, vegetarian (rajas con queso), pescatarian (shrimp and papas), etc. The chorizo and papas and the chile verde were delicious. Love that their chicharrón is a combination of meat, chicharrón, and buche. Highly recommend, just keep in mind if that area is busy especially from the nearby brewery parking is a hassle. Calling ahead would be advised as well since everything is made fresh and takes awhile.

Parking: Was difficult finding parking on the weekend. So keep that in mind.“

“Very flavorful. Unique way of making the tortillas and meats.It just nit your ordinary way. But it is very delicious and has lots of flavor. One can actually taste the spices and condiments in the meats. Spicy, saucy, and exploding flavors The atmosphere is very chill but viby. Great music for lounging and still able to chat and enjoy a great meal. The service was excellent - friendly and knowledgeable enough to make great recommendations.
