most amazing restaurant I ever been to
From the minute you walk in, the staff makes you feel welcome. I've been going to the Stonehouse two or three times a year for more than a decade. They remember my preferences and every time I've visited the restaurant, the food is a constant of wonderfully original dishes mixed with mainstays. Last night, the fruit and burrata salad was insanely good. Shout out to our server Alejandro, his assistant Norma and to David our sommelier, they made our evening extra special.

The property is truly beautiful, featuring cobblestone paths lined with mature olive trees and a chef's garden, creating a cozy and elegant atmosphere suitable for both casual meals and special occasions. Guests can enjoy a walk through the gardens and take pictures after their meal. The restaurant features interesting food concepts, including oysters enjoyed with strawberry mignonette and Korean tacos with tender, flavorful meat, although the thin tortilla can fall apart easily and the kimchi has little gochujang flavor. Standout dishes include the abalone and oyster appetizers, black cod entree, Steak Diane flambéed tableside, veal schnitzel, and chocolate Crème brûlée. Guests have noted the black cod is good, but some experienced difficulty changing the fish order shortly after ordering. A Steak Diane with a gummy texture in the middle has also been mentioned, which is unusual for the price.
