This is the place to go for pizza in Monterey! We visit Monterey several times a year and someone recommended Gianni’s. Parking lot was full on a Wednesday night, and it’s obviously where the locals go. The pizza was excellent, the service was great and the atmosphere is very inviting. Would have loved to try the gelato- next time I will!
A REAL SIT_DOWN PIZZA Parlor I really liked this pizza. It had lots of toppings and lots of cheese. But the crust and sauce are a little bland. It’s true I ordered a veggie pizza, but the sauce and toppings were about an inch from the edge and they did not have ant flavor. Perhaps they needs to be coated with garlic butter or cheese. We’re staying in a nearby hotel and wanted to enjoy a meal in. Gianni’s Pizza hit the spot. Shared a small Pizza and salad made a nice meal for two. Service was quick about 20 mins.
