“We are from LA where arguably the best Mexican food is in the state and let me tell you this place is TOP TIER.
If you’re looking for fresh tacos with the authentic MX taste fresh prepared THIS is it.

Every meat I tasted (my husband got carnitas, pastor, and carne asada) was super fresh, seasoned perfectly, tender, chips were fresh, fresh lemons, not limes (another sign of authenticity imo, iykyk).

The salsas had authentic spice levels, everything.

10/10 for a solid taquero joint. Forget EPL or any other fast food place.

“Small mom and pop type of establishment which delivers on those burrito/taco cravings. Reasonably priced and you also get a good amount of food. Good guac and homemade chips. The handmade tortillas are killer and definitely add to the quality of the taste. More of a casual experience or pick up. There is indoor seating though its somewhat limited. They do have a salsa bar with 3 different types of salsa as well as onions, cilantro, limes, pickled onions/veg., etc...“

“Sitting outside is nice. Drinks are good. Beer is good. The food is good but not great. The portion size has decreased especially on the happy hour menu which is usually shared. When its slow service is good. When its busier service is very slow and hard to get the servers attention because they do not have enough servers on. They think they are saving money this way, but people end up leaving or not coming back because of the slow service.“

“Los agaves has been my family and I’s favorite Mexican restaurant to visit for the past couple years now. We’ve ventured around the menu and everything we get is delicious! We love visiting the west lake village location as well as the Santa Barbara location on De la vina street. Both exceptional!
I’ve seen a couple reviews complaining as to why servers don’t come take our orders at the table. God forbid you have to order your own food at the register. I personally don’t mind at all. In addition I’ve always received great service when visiting. 10/10 I recommend to any one every chance I get!“

We had the Tray Passed MEDLEY OF OUR TATERS Baked Hand Torn and Fried Russet Potatoes, The Perfect Fries, Tater Tots and Sweet Potatoes all Fried to Perfection then seasoned with a Chili Lime Sea Salt and Parmesan served with Homemade Ketchup, HARVEST FARRO & GRILLED KALE SALAD With Fresh Organic Greens, Grilled Kale Farro, Goat Cheese, Fresh Seasonal Stone Fruit, Nuts, Dried Currents, Scallions and Bianco Balsamic Vinaigrette, CUSTOM GOURMET TACOS with Killer Slaw, Smashed Avo, Cilantro Verde Sauce, Crispy Onions on both Handmade Flour and Corn Tortillas - Chipotle Lime Chicken - Pulled Pork “Adobo Style” - Mesquite Grilled Salmon and PULLED PORK SLIDERS with Killer Slaw, Q sauce, Crispy Onion Strings, Spicy Aioli on a Homemade Toasted Garlic Roll. “Someone recommended this place, and they weren’t wrong. The bakery itself is very good, tried their pan con chicharrón and that was amazing. They have plenty of food options even at early hours. Their bread was very delicious as well. Plenty of parking, very friendly staff.“

“We always stop at this Jack In Box on our way to UCLA . Great service always and I order original regular ice coffee and it was a small cup and asked the manager if this was the largest and she said no ( this is our half way point) I asked how much more it would cost for larger and she just gave it to me. I said thank you and God bless you. I would had to go out and get my purse and come back in. But she just gave it to me. Kindness goes far even if on a schedule. Also there was a motorcycle POLICE OFFICER on his bike when we pulled into in the parking lot and my 7 year old grandson said he wanted to go and say "Good Morning " we did and he said thank you for your service!" He went and said let me pull over to a slot and park. So he went around and parked. He pulled up the kick stands and said to get on and told him he needed some flashing lights and turned them on and then gave him a sticker badge. Talk about making a 7 year old happy. Who knew just going over and saying good morning and ty for the service would turn out FUN for a 7 year old. Need to have more kindness in this world.Thank you to the POLICE OFFICER for taking your time for my grandson!!!!��“

Parking: The parking lot is sort of a strange shape in turn making parking a bit of a hassle. Other than that, this is my favorite Del Taco to visit in 𝙖𝙡𝙡 of Ventura/LA areas.“

Awesome service. Only downside.isnthat the speed SOMETIMES come at the cost of you getting all your items you asked for especially if you are mobile ordering. So check your bag before leaving.

Parking: A small lot in front. but no one really dines in that often so it never really fills up. But when it does there is a lot around the back side where the drive thru spits out that has plenty of overflow.

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible mainly in the front parking area. And anywhere else in the premises of the building.“
