It's not as expensive as people put them as. They're not a street vendor, they're a local business that pays rent and utility bills. Expect to pay more than a $3 raspado, but expect to get more than what's in a typical $3 raspado too. Understand a local business especially in this economy. The people complaining aren't angry about the taste, they're angry about not paying $3 like they would with a raspado guy with a cart in hot weather.
We tried this place out over the weekend after seeing it come up on Facebook. I order the tostilocos and an order of the pancakes and they were both delicious. Will definitely come back to try more.
