“When I tell you I drove two hours for this food and baby it was worth it. I walked into this little establishment door wide open to no one in the store. So I stared at the menu for a good few minutes before the owner walked in having made an errand for a quick second. She was very warm and welcoming and mentioned that everything was made to order. I had the catfish meal with collared greens and mac & cheese with a side of cornbread. I also added a Kool-Aid which was grape flavor, the best one, and a peach cobbler. I walked out with my steaming bag and made my trek back down south. This food was still hot by the time I got home and let me tell you everything was seasoned perfectly. The crunch from the batter of the catfish to the cheese pull of the mac and the juice from the greens. The peach cobbler and cornbread were the perfect way to end that meal. It was an absolute pleasure to eat this food and had to immediately call the owner and tell her. This little gem is a little hard to find but worth the trek. I will most definitely be back to try the whole menu. Thank you!“
“No lie I did not expect what I got. This was a recommendation because someone saw me in front of dickeys(now out of business) and man the food is great, music was everything, service a blast from the past, one of the only Louisiana restaurants u can walk in check ur surrounding and get what you pay for. Love this place and will return. 25$ for me and my wife, thats 2 sides each with our fish entrée. Amazing!!!!!Kid-friendliness: Strollers and mom's group enjoyed their lunch there as well with out a hitch. Stole my heart.“
“They have had delicious and hearty food every single time I've dined here. I will usually get the catfish or red snapper lunch/dinner with collard greens as both sides. The fish is always crisp and juicy and the greens cooked perfectly. Service is great.I'll be back for more!“
“Her customer service was amazing . She helps you pick out your food if you’re unsure of what you want . I got a smothers rib tip plate with Mac and cheese and cabbage it was soooo good the meat was very tender the Mac was so good . But the best part was the breakfast burrito I got it for my boyfriend but couldn’t stop eating it . It was big the meat was seasoned well . I highly recommend a ground beef breakfast burrito when you go . I definitely will be returning .“
