50 Best Vegetarian Restaurants near Mountain House

“Went there with my friend and we were in the mood for dosa. I ordered onion masala dosa and she got a plain masala dosa. Both dishes were yummy! We ordered utthapam also but that was a bit too batter-y.
Dosa though was very authentic and for the first time, I tried sambhar that actually was worth finishing. Will definitely be going back for dosa.
One note though- please bring out all the food at once.“

“Lovely afternoon spent here on a Saturday. The tasting room employees are SUPER friendly. We tried the white wine flight and really enjoyed the Viognier and Chardonnay. The flight comes with a delicious cookie and they gave us complimentary bread w/olive oil and balsamic. The lawn has lots ofpicnic benches and the view is stunning. As a vegetarian, I ordered the veggie chicken pho with tofu spring rolls, and everything was delicious.

The pho was warm, flavorful, and packed with lots of veggies - exactly what I was craving. The spring rolls were tasty and fresh, though I think they could have used some sprouts to really elevate them.

The service was excellent, and my fiancé really enjoyed his chicken fried rice as well. We both got Thai teas and they were perfectly sweet and flavorful. We were both impressed and happy with our meals.

I'll definitely be ordering from here again in the near future. This is officially my new favorite restaurant in Tracy!“

“When you walk in you feel the warm welcoming friendly energy of the Island people. Everyone was so kind and polite and all seemed to enjoy their job and working together. It’s the only place I have found here in Tracy that sells Malasadas (delicious doughnuts). Their chicken teriyaki bowls are another go to favorite of my family. Definitely recommend.“

“We recently visited Hannah Nicole Vineyards & Winery in Brentwood, CA, with friends who live nearby, and we had a wonderful time. This was our third or fourth visit, and it’s always a relaxing experience. We sat outside, enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, and tasted several wines. Although I’m not a wine expert, I liked everything we tried, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a great spot to spend a weekend afternoon with friends, and I look forward to returning!

Hannah Nicole Vineyards & Winery sits on an 80-acre estate in Brentwood, along the Delta River. It offers stunning views of Mt. Diablo. The winery started in 2001 and practices sustainable farming. They use cover crops, natural compost, and pest management techniques to keep the ecosystem healthy.

The winery makes a variety of wines, including Bordeaux and Rhône varietals. Some options are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petite Sirah, and Viognier. Their standout wines, the Viognier and Balfour “Meritage,” are well-made and benefit from warm days, cool nights, and winds from the nearby Sacramento Delta.

The tasting room is open daily from 12 PM to 5 PM. Reservations are not required for groups of five or fewer, but they are a good idea for larger groups. The winery also hosts events throughout the year, such as concerts and private gatherings.

“Had a birthday celebration for our 30 year old Son. Our experience was excellent… the food and service. It’s a family owned business where the cook has 23 years experience which resulted in him buying the place. Only a few months into the ownership, he is doing well with consistent food and repeat customers. No worries that you are going to get a different cook every time. He is the only cook who knows what he’s doing. He even has a signature garlic butter. In fact, he makes everything. Not some chain restaurant that uses mass production food from who knows where. Anyway, give it a shot. It could become your fav.“
