“You’ll miss out if you haven’t tried this amazing cake heaven yet!! It has been my favorite and go-to place for the last 3-4 years and counting!
First of all, let’s talk about aesthetic! I love that the owner uses neutral colors and nicely accents it with plants, creating such a sanctuary! As a plant mom, I approve.
This cake place specialized in Mille crepe cakes with all the specialized flavors, such as durian, pork floss, matcha, crème brûlée, tiramisu, red bean mochi, etc. Their cakes are light, melt in your mouth and not so sweet! If you’re Asian, that’s the highest and best compliment for a dessert!
If you opt to eat your cakes in store, there are cute table arrangements for you to sit down and enjoy the plants. You can ask for a free pot of hot tea of your choice. The staff will make and bring the hot tea to you for safety reason.
I used to work close to What’s More and it has been my escape whenever work became unbearable. Something about their perfect and well made dessert and the ambience of the store itself always work like a charm every time. My stress melts away with every bite of delicious cakes.
They sometimes have seasonal items too such as soft persimmon mochis or molten cakes. Cakes also have limited quantities so make sure you come early :)
The owner is always happy to see you and has great service. One bonus thing is that they’re dog friendly so you may bring your pup too for an afternoon tea experience. And there’re always abundant parking spots around the store :)“

“I've never actually been to the physical store but I've had their cake a few times from friends or relatives for special occasions. Classic asian style cream cakes that are moist and not too sweet which I love. Their cheesecake(?) was really rich and tasty and I also loved their Christmas chocolate matcha strawberry cream cake!“

“They have a great selection of desserts and tarts. We tried many items there and everything was excellent. We also ordered a kids custom cake and Sweet table of mini's and it turned out perfect! My personal favorites include the petits fours cookies, eclairs, vanilla cake with strawberries and their delicious coffee/ Lattes. Their breakfast and lunch sandwiches are a must try! They now also have Gelato! My husband recently placed a corporate catering order from them for a variety of breakfast and dessert items and was very happy as well. Highly recommend!“

“Hands down the best bakery I have ever been to. And I’ve gone to France and ate at those bakeries but this one beats them. I can not recommend enough, it is a must have.“

“Yesterday I purchased the guava coffee cake and tiramisu from The Kibler Elf at the Italian Festival in San Jose. Delicious!!! I can't wait to have more of their products. Yum yum yum yum yum!“
“Amazing! She made the most beautiful cake for our daughter's 3rd birthday, the best centerpiece and ending to a magical party!“
“My wife and I online-ordered some goodies from Deja Vu recently. The best Chocolate Babka ever with lots of chocolate, a hint of cinnamon and very moist. They must have used a high quality of cocoa. You can taste the passion and love the chef put into her cakes. This is a local hidden gem!“
“THE BEST CAKE EVER!! I don’t normally leave reviews on google but Palo Alto Baking Company made me the best birthday cake I’ve ever had: I always grew up having a lemon cake with raspberry filling and marzipan instead of frosting as my birthday cake, but then I moved to Palo Alto for college. I called possibly every bakery in the bay, but no one could make it. When I called Palo Alto Baking Company, they made my cake on a week’s notice at a competitive price— doing a flavor they’d never done before and going out and buying marzipan (they didn’t have it on hand)— and it was literally the most delicious cake I’ve ever had. Soft, light, perfectly moist and perfectly sweet. Even people at my party who didn’t like cake, lemon, or marzipan LOVED it. When I went to pick up the cake, I was late and arrived after they had closed, so they sent a baker early the next morning (on a day they weren’t open) to get me my cake in time for the party. Exceptional service. I will be going to Palo Alto Baking Company for every cake for the rest of my life.“
“BethAnn did an excellent job for the cake for our daughter's wedding at Mountain Terrace in Woodside! The cake was in a naked cake style with lemon pucker up flavor. It was just the way the groom and bride requested it! BethAnn was easy to work with and accommodated their schedule for the tasting as they lived out of the state. We would recommend Studio Cake for your wedding!“

“This place has an incredible variety of Persian pastries, literally anything you can imagine. The pastries were delicious, and I loved that almost every kind was packed with plenty of pistachios. The ice cream was ok, though the saffron ice cream wasn't quite on par with what I’ve had at other places. It is generally overpriced. Also, I noticed a misspelled word in the logo ('Patisseire' instead of 'Patisserie'); I'm curious if they’ve ever noticed!“

“I had a great experience at this Cold Stone Creamery! The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and they made my ice cream exactly the way I wanted. The mix-ins were fresh, and the ice cream was super creamy and delicious. The store was clean and well-organized, and service was quick even though it was busy. Definitely one of my favorite spots for a sweet treat—I’ll be coming back for sure! 🍦✨“

“One of my favorite cake places to come. It's located on the first floor next to the garage entrance.
When you walk by, it's like eye candy to look at all the different flavors and slices. They do have seasonal flavors that they rotate in-and-out.
We ordered:
- Lavender Mille Crepe: Excellent. A nice lavender fragrant flavor that's slightly sweet. The best one in my opinion
- Yuzu Matcha Mille Crepe: Very good. A hint of you with citrus along with mild matcha flavor. Ranked 2nd of the list.
- Amedei Chocolate Mille Crepe: Good. Chocolate isn't too sweet and you can taste mild chocolate flavor.
- Mont Blanc: Good. The chestnut on top melts in your mouth.
The only downside is their crepe cakes are pricey. It used to be $10/slice (for regular flavors) and they raised it 20% to $12/slice before. The 20% increase is too much. We used to come much more often but cut it down due to the 20% increase.
Now they somehow lowered it $0.5 to $11.50/slice but some are still $15/slice. It's over $115+ to get the whole cake. They don't have a price tag in front of the cake, so you'll have to ask. Wish they put a price tag in front of the cake to provide more transparency on pricing and make it easier for us without having to ask for the price for the slices (different flavor has different price). Removing one star for it.“

“We got a custom made cake for an event with butterscotch flavor. Based on design that we discussed they made it available on time. Everyone loved the taste as cake was freshly made with beautiful props. Surprisingly all items for cake decorations are edible. Would order again in future! :)“
