The service was great the first night, but the second night, I think they had a trainee and the trainee definitely needed training especially in the manner in which she interacted with people. But all in all this is a great spot and the food is very good. Would come back again.“

“While visiting Angels camp in Murphy's for the New Year's weekend, we went to ironstone Gold leaf bistro for New Year's Eve dinner. It was fantastic! the food, the ambiance,the feeling of being with people who cared was all five star! the best part of it all, was our hostess Lisette. she made everything better, her friendliness, her personableness, her knowledge of what was going on with our food and the food itself thank you for her and that wonder-filled meal!!“

“We had a wonderful dinner & experience. Our family used to come to the City Hotel often when I was a child. It is so great to have it re-opened with the same nostalgic atmosphere and fantastic foods, once again. The server was friendly and prompt. We are putting this back on our list of must-eats in town.“

“Four of us had dinner at the (new) Dogwood in Arnold. The food and service were excellent. The server knew the menu well and made great suggestions. We tried many things as this was our first time at the newly re-opened restaurant. We shared Arancini and the Steam Pot for appetizers, both very good, flavorful. Four steaks for the table, two rib-eyes with demi-glaze and two filets with herbed butter (you get a choice of sauces, sides like caramalized onions are offered too). There was a dessert special - chocolate cake with whipped peanut butter frosting, amazing! Absolutely get this if it's on the menu. A great experience overall, we will definitely be back.“

“We had lunch there on 12/16 this year and it was delicious and a fun environment and experience. The Pasty, a rarity among West coast restaurant offerings, is fantastic, every bit as good as one made in Michigan's Upper Peninsula where the Cornish copper miners enjoyed a pasty for lunch. The right smell when you cut into it, the crust was perfect and the flavor can't be beat. Highly recommended.“

“I love the people that work for you they are so polite when I come in and they are so polite when I come to the window I often have your frosty but today I had your hamburger someone was telling Mary about your hamburger so I thought well I’m gonna try it it was absolutely wonderful the hamburger the large fry the cold drink everything took me back to years ago how you used to be able to get a wonderful hamburger but this is the place I would recommend it to all my friends. “Wow went to the soft opening for their “After Hours” dinners for Thursday - Saturday nights if I understand it correctly. Amazing Filipino-American cuisine. Chef Beverly is creating a dining experience that will change frequently and stay interesting and great. Everything we tasted today was fresh, original, and epically delicious!
