Fantastic food, wine and service. We arrived on quiet Sunday evening and had great attention from our knowledgeable server. A blind tasting round, followed by dinner was classy yet unfussy. I was delighted to be treated with a dessert for my birthday. Though I was out with friend, this qualifies for a good date night location.
The service was fantastic. We did a Sunday evening blind tasting, was fun. The burger and duck fat fries were fantastic. One of the best burgers I’ve had! My friend wasn’t blown away by the gnudi.
One year ago I gave Compline Wine Shop a negative review, saying it was high priced and catered to the tourist crowd. Well as the saying goes "you live and you learn". After more than a year it has become one of my favorite shops in Napa. It has a great selection, fair prices and a knowledgeable staff; with more than Napa wines. Their selection of French, German, and Italian wines is fantastic. 5stars
