We had a fantastic lunch at Bar Lucia! It happened to be a quieter afternoon, but business was steady with a lot of locals stopping by- which I think says a lot about both the product and the service. We knew it was local business when Lauren, the Staff behind the counter knew so many by name! Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere! I purchased two flourless (gluten free) cupcakes to go. The clerk seemed distracted, especially when the phone rang. When I got home, I had one frosted chocolate and one vanilla frosted. The chocolate one tastes great (and I pray gluten free), but I wish he would have gotten my order right. (PS, they weren't busy).

THE BEST CUPCAKES! I am a cupcake lover so I have tried many during my lifetime. At Kara's I tasted the vanilla, lemon and passion fruit cupcakes. They were all delicious but passion fruit was my favorite. I visited two days in a row. The first day I bought two cupcakes and the next day I went back and ordered four. I wish I lived closer to Kara's or that they shipped nationwide ?. I will definitely visit the next time I am in town.
