It has been years since I was at this restaurant. My husband and I were very disappointed; we had previously liked this place despite poor reviews. The place seemed dingy and even thought not crowded, noise. Arrived and it was loud. Calamari was fair. Garlic bread was vert good. Salad was fine. Lamb were cooked right at medium rare as requested, but smothered in an awful demiglace that was too salty and seemed to suffer from an over abundance of Worcester sauce. Every time I have gone to the Villa Romano it is a wonderful experience. The food is exquisite and the portions are fair. The staff is always friendly and usually very attentive. I love the feel of this restaurant its very intimate and authentic.

Don't judge this place by the number of stars or its outside look! This quite place is probably not that popular for its odd location. We came to this place as it was close to our resort and the whole time we were the only ones in the restaurant. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the food. All four dishes we ordered was very delicious. We ordered couple of pastas and fish and the garlic bread. Highly recommend it!
