“We’ve eaten at Creekside for dinner and brunch. The food is delicious and the service staff are friendly and professional. Brunch was especially great…because, well, I love brunch! When Ike’s closed a huge void for brunch was left here…so thrilled to have Creekside as our new go to on Sunday mornings! The homemade English muffins alone are worth getting up and out for on a weekend morning. They use local ingredients that are lovingly crafted into wonderful dishes. I’m vegetarian (my husband is not) so I’m always appreciative of restaurants who don’t forget us vegetarians! We love having you in Nevada City, Creekside, and will be regulars at your lovely and delicious restaurant!“

“The new owner, Blair is doing a wonderful job at making Mcgees better. From a pinball machine, to darts, food on Sunday's & Monday's, constant activities and live music. Most recently there was a new AC unit installed to make for a comfortable place to hang out during the summer.

Wheelchair accessibility: Most times we bring a wheelchair in with no issues. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.“

“Started with the walnut pate ..it was delicious.\nMy husband had the seafood chowder and enjoyed it. \nI had the buttermilk chicken and loved it.\nThe service was great. We sat in a booth off the bar which was perfect.\nWill definitely be back“

This bar has been around a very long time in Nevada City. They have tvs to watch sports and a very large outdoor patio ( it appears you can smoke outside in the patio).
I had a glass of wine and my friend had a beer. Their drinks are still relatively cheap!
Freds Chinese Food is next door and you can order the food and eat it in the bar (Fred recently purchased the bar).
Its a good place to bring your friends for a drink because the outdoor area is big enough to accommodate groups.
Overall its a good place to stop in and have a cold drink!“

“Great place, delicious pub fare, burgers, fish chips, salads and with vegetarian, vegan options and more, locally sourced. Full bar, great beers, and friendly service, more like a locals pub where you'll soon get to know the staff. Also, live music on a stage with a real sound system! Check with them for schedule. But worth going just for the ambiance.“

“I learned to play shuffleboard in your bar in the mid 90's, listening to Johnny Cash. When I lived there at that time, I bought a T-shirt from you with the name of the bar and a b/w sketch of a couple drinking champaigne while riding a horse at full speed. I grew out of that shirt, but that sign is still in the top of my head. I wished I could get another shirt of this!Great bar!!! Hope you're doing well!“
